  1. All i have to do is create reports on word documents, make presentations. do very light video editing which would be compiling video clips, adding background music, maybe a small transition here and there. other than that i dont really do anything else with it. Another reason why i want to get an ipad is to do graphic drawing on it with an apple pencil or stylus (I have a graphic tablet and have been using it for close to 2 years). My university doesnt really recommend any laptop for me to get since im doing graduation in international business which doesnt really need a laptop with a cpu that can render animations or what not. for the use case stated above would me buying an ipad be a good choice?
  2. I want to buy an iPad Mini (https://www.machines.com.my/collections/ipad-family/products/ipad-mini?variant=20437517729903) and use it as an alternative for a laptop, is it possible for me to buy a cheap bluetooth keyboard and mouse and do that. It is possible to run all of the microsoft office applications, video editing and other smaller things i need for my university. I just wanna know if it is possible for me to use it as a laptop alternative and if i do so, what obstacles would i have to face.
  3. i have to try that and check if that helps with anything, but im sure itll still give me similar fps. The laptop is of course plugged in and set to max in nitro sense whenever im playing any games
  4. I recently bought an acer nitro 5 which has an i5-11300h, 8x2 2667 mhz ram, 512 gb m.2 nvme ssd and a gtx 1650 4gb, and a 1080p144hz screen. when playing valorant at all low settings, i get around 100-120fps but the issue is that my cpu and gpu arent even being utilized properly, both 50-60% and are both 60-65 degrees. Is there a way that i can get the game to utilize more of my gpu and cpu so that i can get a constant 144 fps?
  5. I do own the laptop but i use it for assignments, i have another computer so i can screw up the laptop temporarily but not for a while obviously. I might just hold off on hackintoshing at the moment and try something else but thanks for the help tho.
  6. I saw people using vmware and virtual box to use macos on windows, should i use that instead of actually installing macos on my laptop. since it is only a virtual machine, it shouldnt really mess with any of my files and shouldnt be as difficult right?
  7. because i have never used a macos device and the laptop that i want macos is my uni work laptop so i would still like to have windows to be able to do my assignments and all comfortably.
  8. I do not own any apple device, no. thats why i was looking for a way to install it without a macos device.
  9. Hi anyone reading this, I am getting into doing swift or xcode, basically creating ios applications so i need a device with macos to be able to achieve that but i do not have the money to purchase one so i wanted to do a dual boot scenario, like u can with ubuntu, for macos and windows 10 on my laptop. its an acer travelmate p2 with an i3-8130u, 8gb ram and a 1tb hdd. I was looking at many videos and this, seemed like it works but i wanna know that if i do use this can i boot to windows on this laptop as well as mac os. For storage i was going to partition my current drive to give 500 gb or more to macos and the rest leave it for windows.
  10. nevermind, uninstalling my intel gpu completely and downloading fresh drivers fixed it.
  11. I also noticed that after the cmos reset, when i go into my device manager, my intel gpu shows up as just intel hd graphics and not intel hd graphics 2500 like its supposed to.
  12. I have an i5-3470, 16gb ddr3 1600mhz ram, radeon r7 360 2gb gpu. What happened was i was cleaning my pc and decided to re-seat my ram and gpu, after doing so when I turned my pc on, it kept giving me bios beep errors and the issue was that it for some reason wasnt accepting one of my ram dims. so I reset my cmos and and when i turned my pc on it turned on without any issues. but since than my cpu usage on valorant is higher than it use to be before. i play valo at 1080p 90fps cap (cuz 75 hz monitor) all low. before my cpu usage used to be around 40-60% and even when streaming it used to be around at 720p60 it used to only go to like 80% ish. now normally playing my cpu is always being used from 60-90% and if there is too much happening it gets pinned at 100% and for some reason my gpu only gets used in spikes and not consistently. i turned on Vsync so it caps fps at 75 but it still does the same thing. what can i do to fix it. should i reset cmos again. maybe change the cmos battery or change some bios settings. any help would be appreciated.
  13. I currently own an iphone 7 plus and am looking to change to a samsung galaxy A51. Im trying to find ways i can use to transfer my whatsapp chat backup from apple to android. I have seen many apps like wondershare, mobiletrans and all those and have even tried but they make you pay. Is there an actual genuine way i can use to transfer my backup from my 7plus to my A51. Or if there is no third party apps maybe if there is some way i can use the itunes backup files to add my chat backup to my A51? Any help would be appreciated.
  14. in that case, if i do get a rx470 4gb will i like not be able to get the full potential of it since it cant get the power that it needs?
