  1. @Herman Mcpootis Is the performance on the 3600 that much better for $80?
  2. I guess I'll go with the U14s then. Thats a good idea to wait for the best mobo deal. You sure the'll go down $100? I could do now but I'd have to last a couple weeks with out my rig, I could do it though. I just don't know if I could sell anything in time of Black Friday. Even worse; be able to sell my stuff.
  3. How does the Noctua NH-D9L sound? Any recommendations on ram? Non-rgb is ok (even though it obviously increases performance) since I'm on a tight budget. My current PSU (Non-modular) works fine, I can go through a little struggle to save a couple bucks. Can you include a link to the 5700 XT, I did a quick search and the all look $400+. How should I do this, I don't have $700 laying around so I have to sell my current stuff first. So I wont be able to game then. Luckily I have a Laptop I can use to do everything else in the meantime. But I don't know when I should sell everything. This upgrade was originally meant for near next black friday after a summer job. I didn't say I was active lol.
  4. What kind of cooler do you think, new to this whole overclocking thing. Why would upgrading the ram have to do with ryzen? I'm not going for looks on this build, so non-modular seems like a better option. What kind of AMD card do you recommend. Seems worth it to me if I got a couple deals. Not very new to the forum lol, just don't how much performance certain parts will give me.
  5. What kind of gpu would get 144, these will be on 2nd highest setting in games.
  6. Hello! 1. Budget & LocationMy budget is about $650 US, my location is Austin, TX.2. AimI've been looking to upgrade my pc recently. This rig will be used for games like fortnite, overwatch, CSGO, COD, a little bit of Minecraft, with discord, chrome, and a music player open in the background. I would like to get over 144fps on the 2nd highest default settings in those games running at 1440p for the easier to run games, 1080p for harder games to run like COD.3-4. Monitors, PeripheralsMy main monitor is a Pixio 1440p 144hz display. My 2 side ones are just cheap ones that I just threw on there. One is probably 1080p 60-30hz. The second is a piece of junk square monitor that only has DVI and VGA inputs. I don't plan on upgrading my keyboard and mouse. I will probably upgrade my side monitors later.5. Why are you upgrading?I'm upgrading because my CPU is being severely bottlenecked. Also because I can't use the full potential of my monitor's 144hz because the 1050ti can't get over 60fps in most games, I would like over my monitors refresh rate (144hz). 6. My upgradeFor CPU I was looking at the R5 2600 from the i5 7600. I'll be upgrading the cooler from the default Ryzen one to a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for overclocking. I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping my 16GB 2400MHz RAM. For the MOBO I was going for the ASRock B450M Pro4 Micro-ATX, right now I have the Asus B250F. For the arguably most important part, the GPU I was looking at the RTX 2060 over my current 1050ti ?. I'm willing to spend the most on the GPU because I clearly didn't prioritize it when I built this rig 3ish years ago during the Bitcoin boom. My PSU is currently a trash white rated 500W, I was thinking about the Corsair 450W Bronze rated. Please let me know if this upgrade is worth it. And if or what I should change. I will be selling the stuff that is being replaced.Upgrade: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor $117.58 @ OutletPC CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler $29.89 @ OutletPC Motherboard ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $69.89 @ OutletPC Video Card Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GAMING OC PRO Video Card $349.99 @ Amazon Power Supply Corsair CX (2017) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $53.88 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $681.23 Mail-in rebates -$60.00 Total $621.23 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-10-29 12:49 EDT-0400 Current rig: (Purchased means it was free for me) PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i5-7600 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor $239.89 @ OutletPC CPU Cooler Intel E97379-001 CPU Cooler Purchased For $0.00 Motherboard Asus STRIX B250F GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $140.00 Memory Crucial Sport LT 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory $91.58 @ Amazon Memory Crucial Sport LT 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory $91.58 @ Amazon Storage Crucial MX100 128 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Purchased For $129.99 Storage Samsung 860 Pro 256 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Purchased For $89.99 Storage Seagate FireCuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive $96.89 @ OutletPC Video Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB Video Card $149.99 @ Newegg Case NZXT S340 Elite ATX Mid Tower Case $99.99 Power Supply Thermaltake Smart 500 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply $44.99 @ Amazon Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit Purchased For $139.99 Custom Finalmouse Ultralight Phantom $89.99 Custom Finalmouse Ultralight 2 $119.99 Custom Monoprice RGB Full size Purchased For $109.99 Custom 1440p 144hz Purchased For $499.99 Custom Jeecoo Headset Purchased For $24.99 Custom Dell Shit 20" Purchased For $44.99 Custom Dell Shit 20" (Not being used)) Purchased For $44.99 Custom Random Junk (Cables, random accessories) ) $100.00 Custom Dell Semi-Shit 24" Widescreen Purchased For $90.00 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $2469.81 Mail-in rebates -$30.00 Total $2439.81 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-10-29 12:49 EDT-0400
  7. This sounds like a pretty good plan. I live in Texas. The Ryzen doesn't come with a cooler correct? I will edit the post in the afternoon after a little bit of testing and I'll post the temps.
  8. I also have a 256gb ssd I forgot to mention, does that change anything? Pretty sure it's a Samsung one.
  9. Hey all! I was wondering what I should upgrade in my system, I'm relatively new to this so I'd like some advice. My CPU is at 100% utilization when playing, my GPU is at XXX% utilization while playing games (fortnite, overwatch, csgo). For fortnite I run at about 80-70 fps. I believe my GPU is holding my system back and I wanted to make sure with you guys. I'd like to get a little above 120fps on most games with 1440x1080 with mid to high settings. Let me know what to upgrade, I'd like to keep it under $250 whatever it is. If it's a little more expensive with a way better bang for your buck don't hold back, please recommend it. If those prices are outrageously low also let me know. I built my system during the Bitcoin craze, that's why I have a cheaper GPU. Used is also ok, aslong as it wasn't used for mining.

    GTX 1160

Anyone know when the 1160 comes out?

    New GPU

I think I'm going to go with a 2060 (once it comes out next week) it's less to save for. I'm just using it for casual CSGO and Bo4 and VR. I'm not doing any rendering or anything serious. Thanks for the feedback. Any ideas where I could sell my 1050ti where people would actually buy it.

    New GPU

I've been looking at GPU's lately since I got a new monitor for Christmas. (https://www.pixiogaming.com/px276) Currently I have a 1050ti in my pc. I've been looking at the new RTX 2060, GTX 1080, GTX 1070ti. I have a budget of about $520. Just wanted to see what other people think. If you have more ideas of cards.
