  1. Let’s not have a repeat of last week. New mobo MSI MPG B550 Carbon Wifi Currently installing E7C90AMS V.152 bios. How do I even figure out if this is the right bios. its the beta bios ?
  2. So I Can't revive it, I removed the CMOS battery. Shorted the pins it told me to reset the bios. tried single channel memory, my 1060 doesn't work. I just can't get the display on. I guess my only recourse is to get a new motherboard which super blows. I just don't get why my 2700x wouldn't continue to work.
  3. Thanks, I just thought it was weird I'm not even getting a splash screen.
  4. In my head it made sense that I would be able to do it after and I failed to ask the right question to our Google overlord soooo yeah. I might pick up a new mobo just In case tonight
  5. "Sigh". I received my 5800x today and some more corsair fans. I had not updated the bios yet. Put the new cpu in and then got a black screen when I fired it up. Put in the old cpu still black screen. Now I see the monitor light up and I even thought I heard a windows notification. I mean it was just working this morning. I removed the cmos battery and I'm going to try to clear bios settings when I get home. I moved some ram around and did single channel. Build: Asus Prime X470 pro Ryzen 2700x/5800x 32gb Corsair ram at 3200 mhz Rtx 3080 Evga 1000w g3 Corsair water cooler for cpu
  6. SOooooo, I was playing my homemade Steam Machine today and I was trying to play Alien Isolation. AI kept skipping frames, so I tried TW3 to see if it was AI that was screwing up, TW3 kept skipping as well. Finally, I tried Ori and same thing, but, not as often. So I'm thinking maybe the CPU isn't good enough? or My connection to the router is insufficient? I'm using a TP Link N900 450 mbps with my Asus N900 Router, I'm using the 5G connection and they're about 15ft away from one another/same room Machine Specs GA-H81M-H Mobo GTX 770 G3258 Processor 8 gb RAM
  7. That's what I was leaning towards. Their only good color is beige, hope she likes it
