  1. Before I updated BIOS the problem happened, thought updating BIOS might help it but didn't. Not sure if that was silly or not.
  2. It is set to uefi. I'm not too concerned about booting into it as much as I am just formatting it to do a clean install of it or just use it as a storage drive and ill grab a better SSD for my nuc. Is there anyway of accessing the drive? It only shows in BIOS. Tried win 7 pc and win 10 pc, couldn't detect it and ubuntu can't either.
  3. Yeah that's the plan tomorrow most likely. But still curious if anyone actually has any info on this problem at all? Would be nice to solve
  4. Tried it in 2 other systems, it shows up in the BIOS as GALAXGAMER and still shows the windows bootable partition on it. Just unable to boot into it or reformat it in another pc coz doesn't show up other than in BIOS which is strange if its dead. I can take it back to store I got it from without issue. Just hoping to avoid having to do so
  5. Hey, the other day I bought an Intel Nuc ( BOXNUC7CJYH4 ). Updated to newest BIOS. Bought a 240GB Galax Gamer L SSD with it, on the first boot everything was good. I installed windows 10 ( used there creation tool ). It loaded up, was using it for an hour. Turned it off to move it to another room, plugged it in and since then I havn't been able to boot to the SSD, tried to reinstall windows but in the install manager it can't find the SSD, tried searching in diskpart had no luck, tried installing ubuntu to see if could find the SSD but no luck. In the BIOS it registers the SSD and says the name of it, it also comes up with windows portable partition 0 on it. But if I try boot to it, it just fails and goes back to the bios splash screen. I've tried putting the SSD into 2 other PC's and neither of them can detect it other than in BIOS. I don't know what else to try or attempt or if I should just return the SSD but I don't think its dead because BIOS still shows it. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Tom
  6. I recently ordered a 3.5" screen, v3. I used https://github.com/goodtft/LCD-show and works perfectly fine. Just follow the instructions there. Although this could be diff screen/driver. But never know may help.
  7. Hey, thinking of upgrading or buying new pc. Just curious what my currents ones worth. All parts used since like 2016. i5 6600 Z170Pro4 H60SE AIO 16GB DDR4 2666mhz GTX 960 Windforce OC 4GB RM650i gold plus modular CM Storm scout II Few thermaltake fans but doubt that makes a difference in price Wouldn't be including ssds and hard drives. Sorry if its a silly question but had a google and couldn't really find a price.
