  1. As of today it has done it once, immediately after rebooting it crashed again. Any ideas?
  2. System specs: CPU:5800x GPU:3070ti Cooler:ryou 240 PSU: EVGA 850 g5 MOBO: ROG b-550f RAM:32 gb trident z Storage: samsung 980 pro
  3. So recently I got my hands on a 3070ti from micro center, and then I picked up an 850 g5 power supply to go along with it. I ran the 3070ti on my old 650 gq for 2 days until the new psu came in and it ran perfectly fine during that time even under load. I went to install the new psu and like a dummy didint check the cables to make sure all the pins were the same, and used the ones that were already in it from the 650w psu, so I ended up activating the short circuit protection on the psu by not using new ones. Once I replaced all the cables with the ones that came with the new psu it booted up just fine and ran perfectly even under load. Fast forward a couple days to now and in the past 24 hours the computer has just randomly shut off on me with no explanation. When I look at it I see the psu light is still on and the motherboard and water cooler lights are still on and cycling normally, but when I press the power button to start it back up it doesnt work, so i cycle the power off and on on the psu and sure enough, boots right up as if nothing happened. I have checked the reliability center and only the third time it shut off did it tell me that windows didint shut down properly. Im not sure what else could have caused this besides the accidental short circuit that was hopefully prevented by the psu, I cant come up with any other explanation for this besides the fact that I have it running on a power strip, but even then it has shut off twice not even under load. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance
  4. Have you seated them in the correct dimm slots? try reseating them and swapping them around. Your motherboard manual should tell you which ones to put them in
  5. UPDATE: Ok this can be closed. For some reason even though I have tried this in the past and it has never worked, setting my mic that I use as default device fixed the desktop audio problem. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
  6. So I recently upgraded from my fiio e10k to a jds labs atom and topping d10s, on the fiio I could capture desktop audio with shadowplay perfectly, but now I can only capture my mic audio, does anyone have any solutions for this?
  7. also is dp 1.4 not faster than 1.3? because your post about transmission rates shows 1.3 up to 26 gbit but it doesnt say anything about 1.4
  8. so I got a hub that supports dp 1.4, but its only allowing two monitors at 120 hz, this doesnt make sense as dp.14 should be capeable of running them at 144 hz. im fine with the 120 but ive got a new problem, it doesnt support gsync any ideas?
  9. cant display port 1.4 support two monitors at 1440p 144?
  10. thanks!, anyone know anything else?
  11. I bought three monitors( Dell S2716DG) and got two to run at 1440p144 but im encountering a problem as my gpu(rog strix gtx 1080) only has two display ports, and so my third monitor cant run gsync because its only supported on DP, and it is also locked at 60 hz when running 1440p, is there a splitter I can get that will allow me to run all three at 1440p144hz ? thanks
  12. all it says when I download and run it is that it has a catostrophic error
  13. yeah, do you know any fixes for the problems im having? my cpu is plenty powerful(ryzen 1600x)
