  1. Sorry for late reply. When its hooked up the temps go up constantly. I let it go up until 85 degrees and turn it off. This is while the PC is in the bios IDLE.
  2. The problem I have is that I have ordered a Kraken x62 and the pump came either damaged or too weak to cool my i5 8600k... if I order it again will that happen?

    Best cooler?

I have bought an 8th gen i5 8600k. I had a NZXT Kraken x62 which has a pump failure... Now I need a new cooler. Any recommendations both air or liquid are welcome. Thanks.
  4. Im pręty sure i resolved the issue. The coolers pump is either broken or too weak... I need some good cooler recommendations now.. will be returning this one.
  5. I tried remounting it 3 times now. Nothing's improved.
  6. My cooler is brand new, the temperature is still going up, not stable at 80 C. The CPU is not overclocked and is running idle. It feels like the cooler isn't working but I can hear the water flowing...

    Help

My new PC is overheating... The temps go as far as 80 degrees.. then I turn the PC off. My specs are: i5 8600k, Kraken x62, Asus z370-F. Please help.
  8. Ffs anyways thanks for your help.
  9. It's an i5-8600k... Stock Intel cooler runs at 72 degrees while idle wtf....
  10. Changing the thermal compound helped a bit. The stock Intel cooler is at 70 degrees and slowly rising at this point while idle... Still not very good
  11. Idk, everything seems to run fine... Just the temps are rising..
  12. I don't have a clue what to do...
  13. I connected the stock cooler into CPU_FAN. The fan spins I boot into the pc. No "CPU fan error". The temps go up even faster.... Would this have something to do with the thermal paste? I was using the stock paste from the AIO
