  1. Ireland. I think they use more threads.
  2. Okay so my brother has came to me and wants me to build him his own PC. He said he would only be using for programmes like DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Its basically just for editing music or whatever. He has a 600-700 euro budget and to be honest I really know how to go about this. Thanks for the help.
  3. I will be building my PC on Wednesday and I was hoping that someone could help me with what drivers i need. 4. I'd like to hear Ed from TechSources thoughts
  5. Alright cool. Thanks for the suggestion.
  6. Yeah, Ireland is just a cover up. Imagine my shipping charges to space though. I can barely afford to pay my oxygen bill up here. Shesh.
  7. Shipping from Canada would make it rather pointless. I live in Ireland so any cross Atlantic shipping would be a fortune. And the fact, I could get caught with some BS customs charge for an outside EU parcel (Costs 90 euro)
  8. Do the key caps come with the keyboard?
  9. Okay Thanks. Ill have a look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.
  10. As in: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-006519-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00QI2WPJ8/ref=dp_ob_image_ce
  11. So, I've been looking at the Logitech G710+ as my potential replacement keyboard for this Rii RK100. Only problem I have is, -That orange border around that macro keys -And the fact that the directional keys ("W,A,S,D and the arrow keys") are all gray. I was thinking of just buying key caps and switching out the directional keys for plain black key caps. But the orange border, I dont really know what to do about it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  12. An AIO would definitely help. Doesnt mean that the airflow inside the case would be irrelevant though as radiators have fans, GPU needs air, some air to help the RAM integrated heatsink. Just make sure the air intake sections arent blocked by anything. And ensure regular dusting of the mesh.
  13. Yes, the P400 is a nice looking case. Only problem is the airflow on them is rather sucky. I personally have the P400S, it does the job but if you intend to go with the 8700k and overclock it, I just wouldnt be so dead set on the case.
  14. Try and move games to the SSD. Still is there any performance distance
  15. If the games are stored on your hard drive, it could be. Try and defragment your hard drive and come back with results.
  16. I wonder (if this is true) would it be a server worthy CPU?
  17. Hmmm. If its not to much hastle, that would help. I wonder is it something to do with reading the game from the hard drive or SSD.
  18. Not 100% sure. Are all the nVidia drivers up to date? Are all the Intel Chipset Drivers up to date? Could you give some examples of other games that you have been experiencing the same problem with and 1 or 2 that you havent experienced this problem with.
  19. And I hope they continuing competing. I enjoy this new competitive market between Intel and AMD.
  20. My bad. Is this true? Why are they releasing them so early of 2018?
  21. I wonder what Intel response to this will be. Maybe they'll try and introduce consumer grade 12 core CPU's as well.
  22. Yep, dual channel would be the sweet spot for the regular consumers such as gamers. Quad Channel would be helpful for power users, using more RAM sticks. Triple channel memory is a relic of the past. Gone and sadly forgotten. Rest In Peace Triple Channel Memory.
  23. Depends how much ram you want. Dual channel has 2 separate buses used for information delivery to the CPU. Meaning that if you have 2 DIMM sticks there would be no contest between them as long as they are inserted into the proper slots. Quad Channel is the same concept but on a larger scale. If you use 8 DIMM sticks on a quad channel motherboard, rather than a dual channel motherboard, only 2 sticks would have to compete with eachother in terms of information delivery to the CPU compared to 4 sticks competing on one bus to deliver information.
