    Both untrue. Some monitors are limited to 60 Hz over HDMI but it's not a universal limitation. 75 Hz monitors generally don't have this limitation.
     
    Both HDMI and DisplayPort support inline audio.

    It really depends on the version different versions of cables won't be able to do different stuff but I prefer DP anyways because it doesn't slip out (it has a locking mechanism) and in all versions was/is better than the same time HDMI version. Also, DP does have in-line audio capabilities. (Both HDMI and DP should work in you'ur case).

    Vk_vule got a reaction from charles245 in PC turns on when someone uses door bell.   
    As the title says, it just randomly boots up whenever someone is at door. I tried moving it everywhere in the house (even to the other house), but the problem persists.
