  1. Ooh low profile graphics cards huh? Then a GTX 1060 low profile is great for your system.
  2. What is your budget? I would guess around $200-250 ok? With that money, you can get an RX480 8GB that can even play GTA V at 1440p High, let alone LOL ultra settings. If you only have $100-150, a GTX 1050Ti or RX470 would also do the trick.
  3. Don't upgrade your storage! If yes, you would only need a small SSD to boot or store games. I would recommend upgrading your mobo, CPU and the RX580 (if possible). You can upgrade to a b250 mobo, Kaby lake i5, and a new ddr4 ram. Or if you can wait, wait until first few months of 2018 and upgrade it to a coffee lake i3 or i5.
  4. Hi. You should back up manually your files to an external drive, I don't recommend any 3rd party software. I don't think that you have to install any drivers, as long as it's not new. Better install Windows on SSD though. It's much faster.
  5. MacBook Pros are good, no arguing. USB-C are the future, although you need dongles, but it still includes Thunderbolt 3 and DisplayPort. It's CPU are great, it's powerful and have good integrated iGPU Iris Pro. Buying a PC can be cheaper, but it can't be both powerful and mobile at the same time. If you want to squeeze everything out of your Mac, buy a eGPU, because they have Thunderbolt 3, and it's all desktop experience again.
  6. Then I'm sorry, you need that to have warranty. Memory kits are guarantee to work properly with each other, and are usually manufacture in the same packaging.
  7. Nah I just want to try out my laptop abilities. Can you help me to fix this?
  8. A memory kit means memory sticks inside its original packaging, with labels and everything. Do you have your original package? And does your memory are the same thing?
  9. Hi everyone. I tried to install the Folding@Home on my laptop, with Windows 7 Professional, i7-3540, 8gb RAM. Everytime I tried to install the app it just show a screen like this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  10. Uh Hyper 212 EVO is pretty decent for overclocking. Ryzen 3 is overclockable-True. But its stock Wraith cooler is not enough for overclocking, and again, a cheap $30 Hyper 212 and a overclockable board is enough. For the seller, this is a hard sell because I admit the FX-6300 is only equivalent to a 3rd Gen i5. It would be quite bottleneck for the RX 560.
  11. Sorry for my recent post, I would suggest $400-450 without peripherals, and because your mouse and keyboard are all great value, and I will just assume that your Asus monitor is a normal 1080p one, I would suggest $600 for everything.
  12. Excuse me, the FX-6300 is a 6-core, overclockable, can reach well 4.8Ghz if have decent cooling. It's around $78 now, and it's still a bargain and a decent choice for budget system.
  13. Welcome you to the PC master race! If you are wondering the front usb, audio,... then all your cables are included with the case. Pls refer to your motherboard user guide for details. About the case fan, then you would need to check your case detail to see if your case include fans.
  14. According to today's price, your system would cost pretty decent. I would suggest around $700 if including peripherals, $500-550 without peripherals. The FX-6300 is still a 6-core, RX560 is still very new and powerful enough to run games, and your PSU is 80+ Gold. I wonder if your monitor is a gaming Asus monitor. All your other stuff is decent enough and $500-550 is worth it. But,the RAM price is still skyrocketing as hell and you should check price regularly.
  15. Uhm there are really no attempts out there to implement RGB lightings on CPU's cover so... Funny btw.
  16. Budget players have a lot of decent choice for a solid CPUs-GPUs combo. However, AMD has a lot of good CPUs with decent Radeon graphics in it. So I'm considering an A10-7890K because like they advertise it has got more than 1 TFLOPS, which is probably enough for 900p gaming. Is it worth a shot for AMD APUs? Need cmts.
  17. I didn't say it's not built well. It has perfect battery life for my daily usage (if I'm not gaming) and great design. What I mean is it would be nice if Apple can squeeze in a 7th gen Core i5 in it. That will make my Mac more usable, and it's more powerful and power efficient
  18. Considering that this is a $1000 laptop at the time my parents bought it, it just doesn't make sense. Even MacBook Airs today still use fking-slow 5th gen Core i5 U version
  19. I have boot camp already. Mind you that MacBooks aren't upgradable. Their RAM is stuck into the mobo. I have tried CSGO and it performs at 40fps Low Settings. For some reason, my POWERFUL graphics card don't increase it VRAM automatically.
  20. Recently my parents just gave me their old MacBook Air early 2015 version so they can upgrade theirs. I have my own desktop, but the question is, what can I game on my MacBook? My Mac got a 1.6Ghz Core i5-5250u, 4Gb of RAM, 250GB SSD, a powerful integrated Intel HD Graphics 6000. I'm a shooter kind of guy, but any great games that are playable on MacBooks are fine. I don't mind low settings or anything.
  21. Nvidia and AMD both have a lot of impressive budget gaming GPUs such as the GTX 1050 or RX560,... but today I want to take it a level further (partially because I'm poor). I have a budget of $60-80, so what can I have for that price range for a decent graphics card that can run CSGO and League of Legends no prob? I'm considering the GT 1030, GT 730 or R7 250X. I'm not worried about low graphics quality or anything but a bump to low at 1080p or high at 720p/768p would be fine. Any other options? Thnx very much guys. btw I got an i3-7100 and 8Gb of RAM...
  22. That's my question! Wait 'till things get sorted out or just buy the newest 8th gen processors? Waiting might get me some cheaper 300 chipset mobos and better CPUs, but then the CPUs that will be released in 2018 will flip the whole market. Guys like me will want a 4 core i3 for a bargain price, then the CPU stock went out, then the whole thing will get like mining GPUs out-of-stock thing. Buying now will help me avoid those problems but higher price tag.
