  1. Hi guys, I have an ipod touch 3rd gen and a jaybird x3 bluetooth earphone. I have experienced some connectivity issues whereby certain times when i place my hand over my pocket with my ipod in it, the connection gets interrupted and music stops playing. Same when i cover the volume controls on my earphones. My question is that, I have no idea what is at fault here, my earphones or ipod touch (It's pretty old). Can anyone guide me on this issue, how to find out which is the faulty part? I have experienced this problem about 3 times so far, although it will recover by itself after some time.
  2. You are right, it does seem to be the negotiation problem, but when i manually switch it to 1Gbps speed and duplex, sometimes the internet just cuts off automatically and won't come back until i switch it to auto negotiation. And the speed shown would just be 100mbps.
  3. Also to note, the problem is solved when i unplug and plug it back without turning anything off whatsoever.
  4. Yes, and it did turn to 1Gbps when I tried the cable to my laptop. Even taking the cable straight from modem to pc ( bypassing router) gives me 100mbps when the problem occurs.
  5. Hi, I have been having this problem where by my 1Gbps connection will sometimes show 1Gbps in link speed and sometimes show 100Mbps. So I tried to change the speed and duplex manually to 1 Gbps, and it worked for 2 days before internet was totally cut off. I had to change it back to auto negotiation for it to work again, and when I changed it back it showed a link speed of 100mbps. I tried the diagnostic and it said my cable link is only capable of 100Mbps. Last resort, I called my ISP but also to no avail. I unplugged and plugged the ethernet cable back and it showed now I am running 1 Gbps speed, the diagnostic this time said that the cable was running at its max speed. I am lost as to what went wrong, and this issue only affects my LAN line, my wifi works as intended.
  6. Hi guys, after writing this post, I have updated to falls creator windows 10 update. Since then, my internet speed has reached back to 1gbps. On speedtest it shows 915mbps down 800 up now. Will keep you guys updated if the issue occurs again. I am almost certain that it was not isp issue as my other devices using this internet were not affected by this issue. Before on speedtest I was getting roughly 600 down 800 up, and when this issue happened I was getting 95 down and 90 up. I am also not sure why after this falls update, my internet went above 900 on speedtest as it has never happened before.
  7. Hi, was wondering if you guys could help me with this issue I have, I am using Asus maximus VII ranger mobo. The internet speed provided by my ISP is 1 gbps and I have gotten that speed for most of the time. However sometimes the internet icon at the bottom right will show me a red X indicating that internet was disconnected, and upon reconnecting, my internet will drop to a maximum of 100mbps. So far I could only solve it by unplugging and replugging my ethernet cable to the ethernet port on my mobo. Is there any other way of solving this issue?
  8. Hi guys, I noticed a Reset Bios button on the back of my ASUS maximus Vii Ranger motherboard. What does it do and how to go about using it? Does it work when the PC is not turned on (power outlet not turned on)?
  9. Made only one small mistake that was enough to make me sweat for a day....... I wired the front panel wrongly....
  10. Hi guys, am new here. Had a question lingering around my head for ages, never got to finding an answer. Could anyone guide me on what happens when i (press power button twice or more / press and hold power button) to power on my pc. Does it affect anything (system / bios)? Sorry if it sounds stupid to you guys, but im suffering from OCD and this has been bugging me for awhile now.
