  1. That link doesn't work friend. Edit: Use the Permalink on the page.

Do you need PSU and Case and all that?
  3. @Draiker You dead set on intel? On a budget, AMD is usually a better option, ESPECIALLY right now, performance difference is like 13% on top end stuff while the price between them is like 100%.
  4. Following what @Spotty said, you should be able to "expand" the drive if that other space is not used in a seperate partition. If it IS a seperate partition and you want to combine them, for safety, move everything off the extra partition, and then combine them, easiest way is to delete the partition, there by forcing a format and then combining it to your C drive partition. Edit: to be clear, I mean't delete the extra partition, don't delete your C drive... not sure if it would let you, but by god I'm sure someone has done it.
  5. I think the only space saved is the space to fit an mATX vs an ATX MB.
  6. @John Tom A sine wave thingy should have a display to show you if power Voltage is in flux, or some UPS's plug into a computer and can tell you if it had to switch on for a brown out through an application, my APC UPS does that.
  7. Then by deduction, it must be the cabling in your house. I would advise getting an electrician to take a look as well, if you are getting mini surges inside, could damage ALL you electronics, like fridge as well.
  8. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-CP1500PFCLCD-Sinewave-Outlets-Mini-Tower/dp/B00429N19W You can get a cheaper one, see if it stops on that computer and if it does, buy for rest.
  9. Try getting a sine wave balancer thingy and see if it goes away, might be the electricity in your house.
  10. Both of those brands are usually good PSUs, though Seasonic did make a couple smelly PSUs, so that might be one of those.
  11. Do you have a PSU that has a fan that shuts off when using low power? If so, it may be the fan is dying. If I were you, considering it seems you have had issues with PSUs in the past (looked at your profile), I would invest in a UPC or even a Sine Wave balacer if you have the extra case as well as new PSUs. Also, maybe look at your circuit breaker to see if its an internal house thing.

  13. I don't know, the Meshify C mini is pretty small. Of course, my previous case was a Corsair 350D which is as big as a lot of full ATX cases......
  14. Yeah, and I would tend to agree that most people wouldn't have any trouble with it. Considering you had to move so much at once it comes to the question of, are you going to do that again? If not, is it really worth it to get a new drive to replace it? I mean, as LTT showed, it has sufficient read speeds to do your job, if your almost never replacing the data, then you don't have to worry about the "durability" part of QLC. I actually considered this as a game drive to hold games, then maybe have an MLC or if your feeling cheap a TLC drive as a boot drive where most of your small everyday reads/writes will be at. Just remember, DON'T fill up ANY solid state drive, very bad for its life considering how TRIM works and the other normal maintenance that SSDs do. Edit: Just reread and saw this IS your boot drive. I'm OCD, so I would replace ;-P. 860 Evo is a lovely inexpensive drive, and if you have the money, go nuts for a 960, but you won't experience too much noticeable difference in day to day. But MLC is usually better than TLC for endurance.
  15. @Galion I have the Meshify C Mini and I have to say I love it. I have a 280 CLC on my CPU that fits in the front and it still fits my GTX 1080 Ti that is a standard length card (Extended cards do NOT fit with the CLC cooler in the front). Cable management is great in the back and if you want a good view, both the front, and the window looks good. Also, if you look at Gamers Nexus case reviews, this is one of the best cases out there for air flow/ case temps.
  16. Well, youtube is my version of TV, so guess Ill just have to play games in the mean time. First world problems ;-P.
  17. This is happening to me as well, must be Google Youtube that is messing up.
  18. Hah! That is very true. Probably could grab a big fan and just have it blow towards everything too ? Wouldn't have to worry about temps then.
  19. No no no, after extended runs at max it has gone as high as 113C. Not after, boot, tis currently idling at 31 to 52C depending on the sector.
  20. I would check its temperature, but alas all I have are oral thermometers. ? Part of the problem is my MB temps reach as high as 113C, so I know there is an air temp problem.
  21. One thing I was thinking about if this seems like a hopeless cause is to reverse the direction of the fans to push exhaust out front. An odd way of doing it, but would work to fix my problem. Only problem is that filtering would be not as good, for dust and such.
  22. I would, but I have a 280mm radiator, only fits in front.
  23. The top of the case only fits a 240mm radiator and I have a 280mm radiator. Well, the case feels very warm to the touch when I touch it after I get home from work and its typically like 70F in my apartment with the window cracked this time of year (its cool out).
