Hello there people. So ive got the new Shadow of War game, and GeForce Experience wanted me to install a new driver, so I did. Today I was playing some SoW, and suddenly my PC shut itself down, and auto rebooted himself, when the boot was over it started a Windows Update so I was thinking maybe Windows is stupid so it updates me with no warning. But this reset autoboot problem is still going on, even on other games like League of Legends (my resolution got wired, changed it back and it did that again). Im not sure if its my PSU or my GPU causing this problem, and I dont know if there is any fix to this that I can do in order to stop this madness. Do note that my PC didnt do that thing when im on the web, only when im gaming. Someone knows this problem and knows how to take care of that? Thanks

So my SSD with my os on it went into BCD error so I had to format the drive in order to install new windows on it. On my SSD besides the OS, I stored all of my main used programs, such as Steam, Discord etc. After reinstalling Origin, ive noticed the program wont detect ive got Star Wars Battlefront installed on my HDD drive. Is there anyway I can tell Origin to detect Battlefront without the need of reinstall?

If im with my headset on I wont hear it at all, I was just worried this sound means something is going bad with the GPU itself. Since its a common problem and stuff Im not worried anymore, it happends only in ARK at the moment so ill try go Vsync and see if there is something diffrent.

Im useing a 750W Antec 80+ Gold PSU, I dont think this is the case here.

A local store over my county, the warrenty from what I know is by ASUS Global. Im not sure how long I have the card since I got my PC in a part bundle, I can guess its like 1 year old max.

Im getting this only on full load (most of the times the card is really quiet and I cant even tell its near me, with or without headset on. I do have warranty if I remember right, can I just go to the store and say "Hey, I have some coil whine issues" and they will give me or take a look over the card? Thanks a lot!

Hey there folks, My 1070 is set to "Silent Mode" in the ASUS TewakII program. When im going full load (playing some ARK), the card gets to around 70c and that is fine. However, there is a big dissonant (almost like a high pitched scream) coming out from the card. Is there anyway I can tell what is the problem? Is there even a problem? Without headphones this sound is the worse.

So if a retail store is claiming the tv is "HD Ready" - how can I tell the resolution? For a 32" display, 1080p is a must? also, Im not that of a huge competitive player so the 60Hz cap is fine with me. Since you work with tv's, can u recommend me some displays?

So my dad had this crazy idea of getting a 32" TV for my setup (its just way more cheaper then a normal 32" legic pc display).. But im not sure this is a good call since: 1. 99% of the "budget friendly" tv's are capped on HD Ready (means i wont get 1080p, ill get 1366x768). I found maybe 2 displays on 1080p in retail stores around my living place. 1.1 - even tho its not 1080p, maybe since the screen is so big It wont even matter? im not sure. there is also the pro side like the fact that I can find a lot of 100-120Hrz displays all over the place, and a legic 144Hrz pc monitor will cost around double the price of the tv. So, im not sure what i should do here, i can spend the money on a 32" tv and with that same money the most i can get as a pc monitor is a 24" display with 60-75Hrz. What do you guys think? Tbh I dont care about super high refesh rates (never noticed a major diffrence), so that is why I cant make that call

Im also on the budget side (the less I pay the better)! Dont care much about included fans, ive got my 3 corsair fans ill swap with all of the other parts. Any suggestions?

Hello! Ive got a brand new rig and I was wondering, my GPU is the 1070 Strix, and my monitor have only VGA and DVI inputs. Now im useing an HDMI to VGA adapter to connect my screen to the pc, but im not sure if this is the best way, maybe it will be better to use DVI without any adapters etc? what do you guys think?

The Dark Rock 3 Pro is very quiet and very well built, it would be my pick for sure. Tbh dark style cpu coolers looks way better the the brown ugly looking Nuctua ones.

Im planning on getting 2 new intake front fans from corsair (will fit perfect with my 400C im considering buying). My question is - what type of fans are recommended? there are 2 types - AF (Air Flow) and SP (Static Pressure). Im not sure what to get for intake. May Linus be with you all!

Well, not really. I mean, im not so sure what country around me will say if ill step by her lands. I can order from Amazon I guess, the only problem here is that the post office here sucks as hell, and i wont risk it, specially if its pc parts.

the problem with this one is that it has only 2 sys fan headers, but im guessing a fan hub should fix that?

Ill put is simple, in my shitty country there is only 3 main brands for motherboards: Gigabyte, MSI and ASUS. ASUS here is pretty shitty and simple. on the Gigabyte side the K gaming series is the thing I can get, MSI aswell, pretty simple and stupid boards, not to mention pricing.

Sadly almost everywhere in my country that sells pc parts wont have any strix motherboard up in stock, that is what the picking here is so annoying.
