  1. So let me first and foremost state that I am a razer fanboy. I have everything razer related, from the shirts to the chair, to the peripherals and laptops, i have everything razer. So to say that Razer messed up big, is no understatement. Nov 7 Razer pushed out an synapse update to where they tweaked with the audio spatial settings for nearly all razer headsets. What did it do? Made the audio unbearable to the point where it sounded like high squeals and muddy in others with barely much bass in some cases. I personally have a blackshark v2 pro. It was advertised with THX 7.1 SPATIAL. As seen in the link here. Now i'm aware people will say headphones won't have 7.1, and I'm aware of that but before they were pretty good and mimicing it and even windows would see it as a 7.1 when you configured the headset. Now since nov 7 and even nov 16 (when another update was pushed) The headsets for nearly all razer products from what is seen on reddit are junk. People go and complain about how the swap from stereo to thx spatial doesn't work or in my case it only sounds slightly louder. You don't have directionality anymore. I mean when i play apex now it just overwhelming to try listening for steps when you can't even tell if its on your left or right or what not. I have a set of tiamat v2 that i'm gonna try that also had 7.1 (it actually has 7 mini speakers in each cup) and see if those are any better compared to my blackshark now. But really i wanted to bring awareness to the fact razer doesn't seem to listen to us, nor just roll back the sound changes they did. But also looking possibly for suggestions for a good gaming headset (i have seperate stuff for music and all), so suggestions are welcome. Thanks Also really would like for linus to see this or even someone from LMG to see this and do testing to see if the synapse updates really did screw with the headsets and audio devices.
  2. Here is the specs to my current Rig: AMD Rzyen 1700 Asus X370 Crosshair VI Trident Z G.skill 32 gb RGB Asus vega 64 Asus ryujin 360 Asus Soar Sound car Samsung Evo 860 nvme Sandisk 1tb ssd and 2 more tb of mech HDDs Case Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic razer edition 3x lian li bora rgb fans. Now my issue and I've been trying to research this but can't find much of anything is that, the lian li fans are 3 pin argb controlled. But obviously my asus mobo, has a 4 pin rgb, is there any way of getting the lian li fans to be controller thru the mobo via the razer synape software or am I SOL and stuck to using the remote that lian li included with their fans? I've tried the Deepcool rgb controller but that just made the RGB flip out hard and the software couldn't even see them.
  3. See I bought that for my Lian Li Fan,, which have the same 3 pin rgb controller....and when i got them to power, they freaked out and wouldn't even work with the 12v controller nor were they even seen my the Razer chroma system.
  4. So I have a Razer Blade Pro 17 in (2015) the power indicator as well as the usage indicator light on the blade briefly turn on the moment I plug in the device in an off State I've included a video in the link here to show what it's doing can anybody tell me what is going on if my laptop is near end of life at this point? Ink to vid I'm hoping that I can at least maybe still get another year out of this if not then I'm going to be looking into getting a new gaming laptop.
  5. Yea i've been looking at comparison vids and its litterally like 2 to 4 fps if that.....but also the sticks I am taking out are the samsung b-die....so....should I worry if the CAS16 arent?
  6. So I am planning on taking my ram G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB x2 from my AMD build and putting it into my nuka cola intel build. Now when I had originally built my system, I matched what my friend got for his build. Now I've been eyeing this ram: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) x2 My Main question is there honestly a major significance between CAS 14 TO CAS 16.....like the speed would be the same....but I can't for the live of me figure out the extra 90 buck difference? Both sets will be 32GB since I do run editing and CAD software.
  7. So to start off here are my specs that I was running OC: Ryzen 1700 3.8 ghz (air cooled at the moment) 32GB 3200mhz speed GSKILL ram CL14 Asus crosshair vi Asus strix Vega 65 (not OC) Samsung nvme 256 gb boot 2 WD BLACK 1tb 1 wd green 1 tb Sandisk 1tb ssd Windows 1903 So pretty consistantly I've been having issues where my PC will freeze and the video will randomly glitch....and i won't be able to do anything other than reset the PC. Now in calling the AMD rep to find out what could be the problem....I told him the issues and he said its possibly my system being OC too much which could be causing the system to be unstable. I havent really had this issue until a few updates into the AMD graphics drivers. No here is what I'm running: Ryzen 1700 3.0 ghz stock (air cooled at the moment) 32GB 2666mhz speed GSKILL ram CL14 Asus crosshair vi Asus strix Vega 65 (not OC) Samsung nvme 256 gb boot 2 WD BLACK 1tb 1 wd green 1 tb Sandisk 1tb ssd Windows 1903 does anyone one think that my OC would've caused this issue?? I mean honestly idk what to think, because I never had this problem when I had my GTX 1080 in this build.
  8. Yeah I noticed that when I watched their comparison of the m and p series....and when I went to best buy one of the ppl showed me to get the Q70R which actually has smart features which in comparison to the Vizio's are just smart capable. Mainly lack of updating. ? I may end up getting the Q70R or Q80R cuz I've had Samsung TVs in the past and my current 12+ year old TV is a Samsung. Yeah it go up about 400 bucks but I mean I know they will last me. I hope? ?
  9. So I'm looking at getting a new TV for my houses living room, and I was looking at the vizio Quantum TVs......Mainly the M series and P series.....now here is my main question.....I figured the 55 in is the best size for both 4k and my living room. Now I'm looking at the M Series 55 in and the P series 55 in The price difference from what I could tell was mainly in their refresh rates. The M series has a standard 60hz refresh rate with their automotion 120 or whatever they call it. The P series has a natural 120hz refresh and a automtion 720 still dont understand the point of those things. My main question is which is better do you think? saving the 150 to get a 4k 60hz or spend the extra money on a 4k 120?
  10. They are within normal levels considering both are air cooled cpu gets around 78 C and gpu with hit maybe 70C
  11. Hello I honestly have no idea what is going on here. To give a break down of specs AMD RYZEN 7 1700 OC AT 3.8 GHZ ASUS CROSSHAIR 6 32 GB G.SKILL 3200 MHZ SAMSUNG 960 EVO 256GB SANDISK SSD 1TB ASUS STRIX VEGA 64 1 TB WD BLACK (X2) 1 TB WWD GREEN Windows 10 64 bit build 1803 So pretty much I've been getting a soft lock on a lot of my game will just lock up to where windows doesn't do anything and all i can do is move my mouse. Does anyone have and Idea why? I've rolled back the Vega drivers to a few updates back assuming those were unstable.
  12. Uhm I mean there is a variety of those between the Asus zepherus and the Razer blade so around that thin ish lol
  13. Around 2700ish....Preferably thin and in the us, and battery life doesn't matter too much.
  14. So probably near the end of the year I will want to upgrade my laptop. It is still a great powerhouse, but I need something more color accurate and powerful for current gen games as well. So I'm honestly looked for suggestions on laptops that can do Color accurate work, good at gaming and is in a 17 in size. Plus a full-size SD card reader would be great too.
