  1. thank you! i hope the Omen is any good, reviews say it's a good enough laptop for it's price so,it should suffice
  2. Greetings all So some people here where nice enough to suggest me some laptops and after a few days of extended research i've come down to 2 laptops considering buying one of them https://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-ROG-G752VS-7700HQ-GTX-1070-FHD-Laptop-Review.225084.0.html#toc-verdict Or https://www.notebookcheck.net/HP-Omen-15t-ce000-7700HQ-GTX-1060-Max-Q-UHD-Laptop-Review.267226.0.html#toc-energy-management Okay before i get flamed at,yes i know these are very much different priced but a there is only one question i really want answered As i play mostly world of warcraft on the go whenenever i have wifi and free time I am wondering if the HP OMEN one will be suitable enough as a travel laptop that can handle that game without any lag or problems (unlike the MSI i had before wich then again was only a 960M) Because the price is mucher lower on the OMEN thatn the Asus one and since i i don't spend THAT much time on the laptop anyways like max 2-3 hours a day? if not less when i'm too busy So question is Compared to the price/performance will i gain more out the Asus ROG or will the HP OMEN do the job since i don't spend that much time on the laptop anyways Or rather, will i notice anything different in gaming performance compared for the price that i pay for the laptops? because i don't see so much difference in buying a 2000$ laptop over a 1000$ since i don't spend that much time on the laptop i think i could go better for a cheaper one I hope someone can give me some advice on it
  3. Ooh,thanks for suggestion a few i'll look into them
  4. Hey guys I'm looking for a good gaming laptop for on the go because i travel alot and i play alot of World of warcraft in my free time so i 'm looking for a decent laptop that can handle a few games,it doesn't have to be the best of the best but i plan out giving max 2000$/€ or less if possible I just want some advice on how to choose wich laptop will be best for me most important traits i'm looking for it is Not too heavy no problems to run a few games 120hz screen? (not needed but it's a bonus) Can be 15 or 17 inch I've been looking at a few laptops and found this one really interesting https://www.notebookcheck.net/HP-Omen-15-7700HQ-GTX-1060-Max-Q-Full-HD-Laptop-Review.236264.0.html i don't know if it's a good one or maybe you guys have better suggestions let me know!
  5. I want to buy a thin laptop for on the go since i travel alot and mostly to game when i'm not doing anything else Budget: 1500€/$ i don't mind going over that but lower = better MAX 1700€/$ What does it have to do?: Basicly all it has to do is run World of Warcraft well and other Blizzard games and mostly singleplayer games but most of my time goes into World of Warcraft the laptop doesn't need a good battery life since i play plugged in 90% of the time anyways Overall the laptop needs to be thin but powerfull enough to play the mentioned games with great stability and without lag I don't mind waiting a couple of months for a good laptop to come out but i'd like to buy one between now and 1 year atleast + Kudos if it has a display above 60hz (no real reason just interested if there are any on the market) i hope people can give me some good suggestions since the MSI laptop i own (with a shitty 960m gpu) is about to turn to scrap it'll probably still last for long time (as long as i don't throw it against the wall anytime soon) Thank you.
  6. Well i currently run GTX 1080 in SLI (abit overclocked) i'm slightly under the impression it will be enough for 1440p 144hz or atleast things above 60hz Sorry i should've mentioned this
  7. Hey, I currently own an acer predator Acer Predator XB271HK 27" 4K UHD IPS NVIDIA G-Sync 60hz monitor but i really really want a 144hz or higher monitor but i have no clue what to go for..i am so afraid i'll waste money to buy another monitor say 1440p only to not like the loss of quality (if there is any) I am just really impatient and i seriously don't want to wait until...somewhere in 2018 when they release 4k 144hz or other stuff So my question is..I want to buy a 144hz monitor or anything atleast above 60hz for gaming (fps, mmo's mostly) wich one would can you guys recommend me right now that isn't such a big loss in quality than the 4k monitor i have now I think of spending max 1000€/$ for one.. Please help me out of my misery
  8. personaly i'd recommend the logitech G933 Artemis spectrum It's wireless but can be used with a wire also(obviously) wireless has a long range and the logitech software offers easy and alot of control on the headset, for surround,7.1,Dobly you can manually set equalizers trough the software as for comfort these are the most comfortable headsets i've ever used(personal opinion ofcourse) i would recommend these for any gamer the sound is perfect and the microphone decent(and it can be hidden away in the headset if not used) but if i were you i'd go to a store and test the ones that are recommended here before you actualy buy one
  9. If i wanted to go full screen mode i wouldn't have bothered asking...
  10. is there any way i can override this?
  11. For some reason when i play in fullscreen mode i get above 120 fps wich is nice and smooth since it's not dipping below 60 at all but when i decide to go windowed(fullscreen) or normal windowed mode in games (literaly any game) my game decides to cap on 60 fps and even with g-sync on if it dips below 60 i can notice the shit lagg in the games i'm playing why does my games get hard locked to 60 fps in windowed mode (yes i checked if V-sync and other things are off) and in fullscreen mode i go way above 120
  12. Everything was just fine as was just browsing around and the colour just dissapeared from my monitor everythin is black and white expect from when i log in the screen is orange and the background is im colour for a few moments but then it just goes black and white again i do notice when windows asks permission to install a program the colour does come back and when i click “yes” to return to my desktop the colour dissapears again i’ve tried a few things so far -changed monitor -reinstalled drivers -switched cables -tried different PCIE slot for the GPU anyone who knows a solution?
  13. my main monitor is a 4k monitor yes but the second one is just a 1080p for minor stuff
  14. I am running 1080’s in SLI and for some reason when i am playing videos on my second screen the games i play on my first screen start to stutter and lag extremely hard i’ve noticed that it stops when i put them in fullscreen mode but it returns again when i put them in either windowed or borderless fullscreen mode does anyone know a fix for this maybe? Since i hate tabbing out everytime i want to do something on my second screen while playing mmo’s
  15. I have a 4k 60hz display and a second monitor wich is just 1080p for offscreen stuff the problem is my 4k screen wich is my main display starts stuttering and lagging ALOT when i'm watching a video on the other screen, I have no idea how to identify the problem... i am using 1080 in SLI but i doubt that SLI would be the problem
