    Prime is the only test that I fail on. All others like Aida, Overdrive etc... I'm stable

    Not 24/7 , only a few hours a day when I game. And yes it is game stable as well

    So I recently clocked my 8350 at 5.1GHz with 1.58v going through but my max temp after 2 hours in Aida64 was 60C and the safe temps for the 8350 are between 65C-70C. Could I pump moar voltage through it or will that fry it. Also, is voltage the killer or is heat the killer?

    What program did you use to make these?

    It posted according to asus's q codes and everything there just wasn't any picture displaying. He switched the HDMI cable from port 1 to port 2. Thought my 290x broke

    Use the bios then, that's what board I have. Asus's software always gives me warnings but they're all BS. Just uninstall the suite or disable the sensors in the software. Load the extreme overclocking settings and overclock from there. Don't forget to re-enable the sound too.

    no i didnt use link to monitor the temp. my temps are fine, feeling the rad it is warm to the touch, not scorching like at 70C

    ive used 3 different programs AND AMD overdrive, the temps are correct, when i used my h100i temps werein the 70's

    The reference heatsinks are from the 7970 so its dissipation capabilities can't cope with the tdp of the 290(x)
