Very good build. Are you planning on SLI?
Perhaps in the future, but i was told i should allow some headroom even for a single gpu so i went with a 750 watt psu

Switched my motherboard to the MSI Z87 G45 on pc part picker. But guys in your opinin should i just wait until the non reference 290's drop, or just go all out and get the 780ti and be happy about it?

Just to show some options: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2lx6l
Wait for aftermarket 290's.
I'd just recommend going with one though: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2lx7F
The 780 Ti is a bad value. I'd avoid getting it and save the money for future upgrades.
I've been waiting for the non reference 290's for what seems like forever now. It's gotten to the point where i just cant wait anymore.

What motherboard (around the same price) would you guys recommend?

Hey i'm about ready to pull the trigger on this build. It'll be my first build and its aim first and foremost is gaming at 1440p. I'm really quite new to this so i'd really like some feedback on how i could improve this build whilst staying around the same price, whether it be by changing the motherboard or case etc. Or if you think this build is solid and i should pull the trigger let me know.
All price are in Australian dollars
