  1. Cool, thanks for your help. I'll definitely consider this option when making my purchase.
  2. I've heard about XLR microphones. What would I need to have to get it to work with a computer? Would I just need an adapter?
  3. Hey, I've been looking into getting a new microphone. I'm currently using an AT-2500 that seems to be at the end of it's lifespan. I know the Yeti is the usual suggestion for the $100-150 price range, but are there any other good options out there? I also have a problem where my microphone picks up sounds from my computer. With my current microphone, application specific settings have allowed my to cancel most of this out. However, in some games I can't do much about this. Is there a software/hardware fix, or a particular type of mic that could possibly be a solution to this problem? Thanks in advanced for any advice.
  4. I thought about that too, having had a similar issue with phantom gaps or lines that show up at different levels of zoom, but it doesn't seem to be the case this time.
  5. Another example of a similar problem that I've run into is areas of transparency near the edges of areas that I filled. Sometimes some pixels just aren't filled at all.
  6. Yeah in hindsight I didn't quite explain everything very well. My problem is that everything, but the selected area, shouldn't have been filled. There was nothing but a black background that was left visible. What Ii was expecting to happen, and what I think should have happened, was just the selected area would be filled with light grey, while everything else should have remained black. Instead, the fill caused other random parts to change color, in the outline of the original image that I got the selection from. So to reiterate, the selected area was the only part that I thought would have been filled, while everything else was originally left black. When I filled the selected area, it turned everything else into a different shade of grey, even though it shouldn't have been included in the fill.
  7. Hey, I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem before? I've been trying to use the fill command in photoshop, which should be a relatively easy task for it to fulfill, but it hasn't been doing what I have expected it to. An example is shown below. Basically, the selected area is the intended fill color, and is the area that was intended to be filled. Everything else should not have, as far as I can tell, been filled. I haven't found many similar cases online (partially because I am new to photoshop, and I've been having trouble wording my searches correctly). Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.
  8. Hey, I was trying to set up 1440x1080. I managed to get it to work with the original settings that I tried, I just needed to restart my computer before they worked (a step that most people skipped on telling during their reviews). Thanks for offering your help, and have a nice day!
  9. Hey, thanks for trying to help! I was able to fix my problem, I just needed to restart my computer. Once again, thank you for offering your help, and have a nice day!
  10. Yes this works with native resolutions that CS:GO recognizes. I should have specified that I was trying to use a custom 16:10 resolution. I've gone through about a dozen videos so far, and they've all recommended changing different settings. However, nothing has seemed to work.
  11. Has anyone been able to set up a 16:10 stretched or a 4:3 stretched resolution with an AMD graphics card? While a lot of tutorials exist, all of them haven't worked for me. Any idea what might be my problem? Edit: What I meant to say was that I'm trying to setup a custom 16:10 resolution. While the native resolutions CSGO supports do work, I am trying to create my own. This has worked for me before, but that was when I had an Nvidia GPU. The same process doesn't seem to work with my current GPU and respective drivers.
  12. Will do Fair enough. I thought it could possibly be something else, because there seemed to be relatively low complaints about it. I'll try installing it without fuze drive and see what happens. Could it be possible that the problem could have also stemmed from incompatibility with more recent Windows 10 updates? Everything was mostly working for months, and it's only been recently that I've been having trouble with it.

It has already happened twice this month, one of which was this morning, and at least a couple more times last month. The last two in particular seemed to only be solvable by completely reinstalling Windows 10 (i.e. cleaning the drive and starting fresh). Both times I was unable to restore to a restoration point, or even just reset Windows 10. I tried every command prompt command I could find, but it failed to yield any success. I should also mention that automatic repair attempts have also failed multiple times. I'm out of ideas, apart from one possible explanation that I'll get to after this. I have been running my hard drive and ssd as a fuzedrive. This is using software purchased along with my ryzen 5 processor. I haven't been able to find any evidence to suggest that the fuzedrive software is too blame for my windows 10 problems, as most people who I have found that have tried it said it worked perfectly fine for them. However, I thought it would still be important to mention in case there is a known problem that I haven't heard of. (I have also sent an email to their fairly helpful support team about my issues, but haven't received a response.) Another idea that was suggested to me by a friend who is equally as hated by Windows 10 was to try installing an older version, and keep an update or two behind the newest version of Windows until they become more stable. This makes sense, especially since I use a third party software like fuzedrive, but I am unsure how I would go about installing an older version Windows 10. As far as I can tell, Windows attempts to install updates when installing it. I'm guessing I'm missing something, or have made incorrect assumptions with installing Windows in the past, so advice about this possible solution would be helpful. Lastly, I have also considered that maybe the installation media that I have been using may have something wrong with it. However, this isn't based on any evidence, and is merely the only commonality I can think of through all of my attempts to get Windows 10 to work properly. Again, thanks for any help that can be given. I really appreciate the kindness shown by helping me solve my issues, and hope everyone has a nice day.
  14. Unfortunately, even with a search as broad as that, the only one I can find is in russian. It also only details how to remove the bottom cover of the laptop. I'll do more digging and see if I can find something. Thanks for your advice.
