  1. I have to update my research! My laptop's power capacity is only 2k mAh...MAYBE. It is 43,800 mWh in capacity. My second chart, showing % of Razer battery charged was misled by Razer customer support. Here is the new chart. It still scales to show the same relative data, and the standard deviation is unknown due to the numerous variables that go into a battery's charging speed. Previously the % of my laptop's battery charged was grossly understated. The new Excel spreadsheet is attached too. If I can actually get 8 or 9 laptop charges out of a powerbank that would rock. 2. Hello all! Recently I purchased a Cygnett ChargeUp Pro USB-C Power Bank to charge my laptop. I did so only after extensive research, and contacting Cygnett customer support to see if the Power Bank would work with my laptop first. As previously mentioned in my original thread, this Power Bank meets the charge speed requirements of 45W (20V, 2.25A), and of the three Power Banks that DO meet these requirements, this one provides the most mAh/$. Cygnett confirmed that their Power Bank will meet the charging requirement for my Razer Blade Stealth, at least on paper. Unfortunately, the Power Bank is not charging my laptop, and their customer support center is closed until Monday in Australia, and I am forced to seek assistance elsewhere. Here is the issue that I am experiencing with the Cygnett ChargeUp Pro. There seems to be an issue with device driver recognition. This isn’t an issue when I plug my laptop into the wall; the laptop just charges. I am using a Type C to Type C connector to connect my laptop to the Power Bank. My Power Delivery GrandStar charger powers my laptop just fine; it may not be an issue of Power Delivery tech compatibility. Power Delivery (PD) is a circuitry technology that, like Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, identifies necessary Wattage to send to a connected device to prevent over-volting. When I plug in my Cygnett Power Bank to my laptop it is recognized as a USB device, not a charger. “USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)” pops up and is removable; I have the option to “eject this device”. Approximately 20 seconds later, the recognized USB device ejects itself. My Power Bank is fully charged. I even charged it with a Power Delivery charger. Here is a link to the Power Delivery charger that I purchased. Again, it charges both the laptop and the Power Bank. https://www.amazon.com/USB-Type-C-Wall-Charger-Grandstar/dp/B06XR9JBM8
  3. I think Foxhole is made by the same people. I really enjoy that game. I just bought DarkSouls 3 with my refund and am about to try it out.
  4. Also, I bought Ark last night, maxed out the settings, and got a refund on steam. The game has a difficult learning curve. >.< I have not extensively tested the game.
  5. Let me restate myself, as I may have been too quick to jump the gun. I just rebooted my PC. From the time I pressed the power button, to the time it displayed the login screen, it was 24 seconds. Most of this was waiting for the BIOS to post. Upon logging in there was minimal lag. Like....zero. I was immediately able to open any program of my choosing. I install most of my stuff on an HDD unless it is vital to my workplace.
  6. And M.2 SSDs are amazing. Both my laptop and desktop sport an M.2 drive. The boot times for both are always under 15 seconds.
  7. OK! Here is some of the research that I have done, regarding my options for a power bank. Graphs included! What do you think? I think the Charge speed should as closely match that of the laptop wall-charger as possible. So does Cygnett AND Line-Dock, and apparently Razer. I spoke with all three of their customer service departments, and each had a compelling argument as to why I should purchase their Power Bank. It should be noted though that Cygnett and Line-dock both advertise to be capable of "charging my laptop's battery multiple times over", and Razer, being transparent, said that that's not going to happen, even with their own Razer power bank. When confronted on this, Line-dock argued that the % of the battery charged is overstated in each power bank's case too, as only a fraction of the each battery's charge is transferred to the laptop's battery pack, and it is based on battery quality. They implied that obviously theirs is better because it is more expensive . Really, in the end, the perfect product for me might be a 45W USB-C 100,000 mAh Power Bank. For the record, the "100% charging speed is best" part is loosely based on research and personal opinion. "https://www.pcworld.com/article/2683012/want-lithiumion-batteries-to-last-slow-charging-may-not-be-the-answer.html" as slow charging my battery could possibly damage it; I want to baby my laptop. Also, mach maximum wattage is based on published max voltage, and amperage with a ceiling at my laptop's 2.25 amps; assuming that each power bank's circuitry is capable of restricting itself to 45W (20V 2.25a), and not going over if it is powerful enough (Line Dock ), or capable of (in Rav Power's case) constantly outputting the maximum voltage and amperage per design. 8. Computers in general are just now starting to NOT suck. It is nice. Ryzen is affordably awesome. Macs cover up their suck by restricting your experience.
  9. I like my Razer laptop. Don't like the chipset, but the case and display are nice. The battery sucks.
  10. 11. Linus is much more privy to the need of a sound card: Save yourself from Rabbit Cancer
  12. Edit: $99 for the companion 2s online. Bose is good about minimizing crap noise.
  13. I got the Bose Companion 5 speaker system for $499. It connects through USB. Also, the Companion 2 is a great choice and runs around $70 at Best Buy.
