  1. Is the performance difference big enough to justify the 25% price increase for the 1070ti and the 40% increase for the 1080?
  2. Hi guys I want to buy a new GPU for my Ryzen 5 1600 system. I've found a deal for a GTX 1070 ROG Strix at 200 Euros, a 1070 Ti Gigabyte Titanium for 250 Euros, and a GTX1080 Gaming X listed at 300 Euros that I might be able to get down to 275. For someone who saved up ~600 with 300 of that available for his GPU at the most, which one of these would be the best value, considering my R5 1600 and playing at 1080p? I want to be able to use the card for atleast 3 or so years without really considering upgrading. Sorry for the long story and thanks for your advice Edit: the 1070Ti is 265 but I will probably be able to find one for 250, and the 1080 is 280 after some negotiating. Which would be the best dollar/frame? Edit 2: I've found a Vega 64 for 300 and a Vega 56 for 175 and a few for 225 I think the Vega 56 is the best option then (correct me i if I'm wrong) I have a TX650M with a Ryzen 5 1600 ,2 7200RPM HDDs, one Sata SSD, one DVD RW and 2 case fans with my R5 1600 at 3.8GHz Will a TX650M be able to handle a Vega 56 with the rest of my system? I had a weird issue where it would turn off with my old 7970 but I don't know if that was due to power constraints or if there was something wrong with the card
  3. Minimum 60 at ultra Will a 1070 be able to do this in the coming 2/3 years? Of course we can't know for sure but what would you expect?

  5. I'm sorry I've just been saving up for a while and want to make sure I get the best I can You're right I should have just continued the other thread. Now I'm going to place my order on this kit Thanks for your help.
  6. Hi guys Is this kit supported on Asus Prime B350 Plus with a Ryzen 5 1600? It's not on the motherboard supported list but this kit was released this year (after the list was made) and other Crucial kits are supported Should I give it a try? https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/1300934/crucial-ballistix-sport-lt-bls2k8g4d32aesbk.html
  7. Is the performance and price decrease worth it considering I will probably upgrade to a 3600 or 3700 in a year or 2?
  8. I'm using a single channel 2133mhz 8gb kit from Team Group I want 16GB and I don't want such slow memory because I believe that's just too slow
  9. Hi guys I'm going to upgrade my RAM for my Ryzen 5 1600 system Which one of these kits should I get? I use my system for gaming They cost about the same except for the last one. How much of a performance difference will I see with 3000mhz instead of 3200mhz? https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/496055/g-punt-skill-ripjaws-v-f4-3200c16d-16gvgb.html https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/786133/corsair-vengeance-lpx-cmk16gx4m2z3200c16.html https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/671721/g-punt-skill-aegis-f4-3000c16d-16gisb.html
  10. Hi guys I'm about to buy some new RAM for my Ryzen 5 1600 system, and I can't seem to find the difference between these two kits One is a little bit more expensive but I can't seem to figure out why Why is one more expensive than the other? https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/786133/corsair-vengeance-lpx-cmk16gx4m2z3200c16.html https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/459273/corsair-vengeance-lpx-cmk16gx4m2b3200c16.html
  11. I don't want to run the risk of doing a BIOS mod I know you can fix it if it goes wrong but I'd rather get something that I know works ?
  12. Is a Vega 64 or 56 not a good option? What would be the pros of going for a 1070/Ti?
  13. Hi guys I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 1600 on an Asus Prime B350 Plus motherboard with a TX650M PSU and 8GB RAM which I'm going to upgrade asap. I game on a 1080p 60Hz display which I will probably upgrade to a 1440p 100Hz display in a year or so, and I want to be able to comfortably (high settings 1080p60) use my new GPU for at least 2 years. I was using a 2nd hand 7970 which I sold about a week ago, and got a free HD6870, which was nice but is really not capable of running anything remotely new in terms of games. Right now I'm using a GTX 1070 which my friend gave me for a week because he's on vacation and doesn't need it right now. The performance increase has really helped me make up my mind to buy something newer and more powerful than my old 7970. My budget is around 200 euros (no more than 250) and I'm comfortable with buying used. Right now I feel like a used 1070 or vega 56 are the best options. I would like to hear some more advice/options from you guys to help me upgrade. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for your opinions.
  14. Thanks for the advice by the way I think I'll get the LPX or Ripjaws kit then, just not sure yetwhich one to get considering a CPU cooler upgrade I might do. Will a 2 stick kit interfere with a big air cooler? Or maybe an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo?
  15. Yeah I feel like 8GB just isn't enough anymore, and I'll be able to use 16GB for a few more years and then upgrade if need be. I also have another option for RAM should I get this or the Corsair LPX RAM? G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16D-16GVGB
  16. I'm using the cheapest 2133mhz (don't know the latency) 8GB single stick kit I could find from Team Group I could find in 2017 which even then was around 70 euros. The new kit would either be a Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C163200Mhz 2x8 for 80 euros or a G.Skill Aegis F4-3000C16D-16GISB 2x8 for 70 euros
  17. Hi guys I want to buy new RAM for my Ryzen 5 1600 Asus Prime B350 Plus PC. I will probably upgrade to a R5 3600 or better in a few years. What memory speed should I get? 3200 for ~80 euros? 3000 for ~60-70 euros? or fasterfor about ~90-100 euros? How much of a difference will it make for this system in gaming when paired with something like a GTX 1070 or Vega 56? Thanks for your advice.
  18. Hi We just installed an AIO in my friend's PC I5 6600k Z170 A, cooler master eisberg prestige 120l The BIOS says the moyherboard is at 200 degrees Celsius which is really weird The pc turns on, goes to BIOS, then turns off and then won't turn on again for a while unless you pull the psu cable out We don't know what to do Please help
  19. Is it not better than a hyper 212 evo for an i5 6500? (or 6600k I can't quite revall what he uses)
  20. Hi guys I found a Cooler Master Eisberg Prestige 120L in a secondhand store today for cheap (25€),but it doesn't fit on AM4 which is what I have so my friend wants to buy it for his skylake system. The box says it supports 1155 and 1150,but not 1151 because it's a bit old. My question is, do 1150 and 1155 coolers fit on 1151 sockets? (z170) Thanks for your help
  21. HP only has Windows 7 drivers for it, which I installed but it doesn't work
  22. Hi guys I have an older HP wireless keyboard. It's really nice to type on and it works very well, my problem is that I want to use the media keys on it, but they don't work on Windows 10. Only the volume knob and mute button work. It has integrated music, browser, media skip,play/pause,disc drive open, email and more buttons. These are all really useful and convenient, but I can't get them to work. Do any of you know how to make these buttons work? Thanks for your help.
  23. Sharkoon VG4W but I might upgrade soon Basic 8GB Team Group DDR4 2133, but I'm going to upgrade that to 2 sticks of either G skill Ripjaws or Corsair Vengeance LPX
