  1. Okay, I will give that a try real quick. Thanks
  2. Well that is good to know that is the problem. Well rip $120.
  3. Hello I have experienced many BSOD's over the past few months, and had many different bugcheck numbers. I have had bugcheckcode 0, 30, 59, 80, and 313. I believe it is my power supply. I just wanted more experienced advice on how to fix this. It has happened while I have been gaming at 4k in games such as Gang Beasts, Valley, The Witcher 3. However, all the other games that I play at 4k have no issue. My rig Ryzen 1700 stock clocks EVGA 1080 ti FTW3- running stock clocks 16gb Vengeance LPX 2666 running @ 2666 PSU- 650W EVGA GQ MOBO-Gigabyte ab-350 gaming 3 I have reinstalled all drivers and have used DDU. Have unplugged and plugged everything back in. I have the computer plugged into a decent surge protector. I have run multiple diagnostics with no errors. If there is anything else I should do please let me know. If not I think I need to get a new PSU.
  4. I will have to check out the motherboard temps and monitor everything closer. Thank you for your suggestion. Also my bios is up to date.
  5. It seems to be any application that is demanding on the cpu and gpu for an extended period of time. Any suggestions on where I should look for a solution? Thanks for the reply
  6. Each time I am running a game at 4k for about 20-30 minutes at full gpu utilization, it will crash and will bsod. Not always, as sometimes it will crash to the desktop but recently it has been crashing my pc and displays the bsod. Games that it has crashed on (PUBG, The Witcher 3, and Valley each at 4k) No other applications My rig: Ryzen 1700 (stock frequencies) 16gb 2666 LPX Vengeance (running at 2666) EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW3 (running the aggressive bios, stays at 70-75C under full load)/ was running gtx 1060 6gb a month ago and experienced crashing during 2k gaming(no bsod). EVGA 650W GQ (has a slight buzz, not sure if I should be concerned) Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 motherboard (uses Realtek audio drivers) Kernel power 41 (task 63) have mostly had no error code, but on occasion I have had 59 This has happened 16 times in total, each time while playing a demanding game at 4k. I have run a memory check, did a disk check and repair, did a full ddu of my gpu drivers, I have reinstalled all other drivers except motherboard drivers/bios. I think this problem is psu related. However, It seems strange as my max usage is only at about 550 watts I could really use some experienced advice. I do not know what is causing this as all temps are well withing reason. The only thing I can think of is my psu is not strong enough, but my build does not pull that much power and have not had a problem while benchmarking with the cpu and gpu overclocked. It only happens when I am gaming at 4k for 20-30 minutes then it promptly crashes or bsod's. Thanks in advance.
  7. Unfortunately, I do not have access to one with enough wattage. Are there any ways to test or monitor the psu?

I am unsure whether this problem is psu, or gpu related as I have not had a bsod with my previous graphics card, I recently upgraded and it started happening. I could really use some experienced advice. I do not know what is causing this as all temps are well withing reason. 9. I have a EVGA 650W GQ. Fair enough, where is the best place find out if it is operating properly compared to a similar rig? Thank you for the input.
  10. My concern is that it crashes during some games such as the Witcher 3 and Player Unknowns, it drops frames even under a light load. I get dropped frames in rocket league, starbound, and other games that are not even close to pushing the card. I have a 650W psu so that isnt the issue either. I will have to try the drivers. Are the Userbenchmark tests reliable?
  11. I have a question as I have been benchmarking my EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3. My current rig is a ryzen 7 1700 (3.75gz Overlclock), 16gb 2666 corsair vengeance, 250gb ssd, and 2 tbhd. In the benchmarks all my hardware is performing in the 80-90 percentile range. Then when I test my 1080 ti even on a conservative overclock it only hits the 10-20 percentile. I have tested my graphics card while both my cpu and gpu are at stock frequencies and overclocked, but it still performs within this range. I am concerned that something my be wrong. whether I am doing something wrong, has a defect, or has nothing wrong with it I cannot be sure. If you have a suspicion of what could be going on please let me know. All drivers are up to date I have attached the images of the benchmarks to the post. Thanks (all benchmarks show the cpu and gpu when overclocked)
  12. Found a pretty big correlation between cpu clock speed and userbenchmarks benchmarking methods. I am running a ryzen 7 and it has lower clock speeds which is causing it to perform poorly in their test due to them primarily being high framerate tests. It appears a small overclock on my cpu made the difference and brought my scores up. Thank you for your input as it was passmark that got me looking into this. Thanks again.
  13. Dang. Thanks for your prompt response. Also are CPU Userbenchmarks rankings reliable in the first place?
