  1. well, you are gonna need someone less noob than me then , wish i could've help you!
  2. Have you checked the thermals ? Changed any in game setting, temps and lack of ram may be issues.
  3. it could be a lot of things, have you tried checking the task manager see what's what.
  4. i'm actually planning on a trip to Vancouver Soon'ish' i wish i could just go there and be like the little girl meeting Justin Bieber for the first time and being in AWE!!!! But seriously, i'd be you, i'd take a guess (if you're as much a fan as i am.) Just meeting the guys, bringing a 10 cups of timmies and maybe some donuts. Those guys must be busy, but at the same time, they might have like the best (or close to) the best working conditions so maybe a little 5 mins of chat might not hurt (except if they're hassled by guys like us all the time).
  5. me totally teh scammer, so give me me reward plez, send it to me pleezz.
  6. ?????, well. the biggest bottleneck for now for the 2080/2070 series is, well, NVIDIA. so yeah for now you gotta update NVIDIA to the latest release, then we will be able to answer this specific question.
  7. yep, i agree, done a build for one of my friend, got stuck with a gtx950 instead, still he did only want to play truck sims so its all good, but the 1050ti would've been great, but at 250-300$CAD thats really too much
  8. do you have any code appearing on the MOBO under the gpu ? you should get a error code, i had an issue with my ram (gskills ripjaws V 2x8 ddr4) and i just had to reseat it and everything was going perfectly after (aorus gaming 5 board too)
  9. personally i love the gamdias zeus (Linus reviewed it like, ages ago) and i have kind of a similar grip ( i think to you) i rest my palm on the back but grip it on the sides with the pinky, the other one just besides and the thumb, to me its perfect, not too heavy, not too light, and the ridges are just perfect, check it out, and if ever you can find one less than (140$CAD, still in stock) get it since i think they dont do it anymore.
  10. i'd be more concerned by the case clearance, especially if you got a slimmer case.
  11. i know how to get new parts, i was asking for used ones, like you own a gtx960 and want to sell it to me.
  12. So i am currently making a build for a friend, he knows nothing about computer, that's why i am building his. The questions i'm having are : What kind of hardware do i really need to push Euro Truck simulator and American truck simulator at 60FPS steady, med to high details, he is gonna play on a t.v. so no need to push more FPS anyways and he's not interrested in any other games, except maybe forza's, Farming simulators, you get the idea. I was thinking about getting a ryzen 3 1200 with some kind of GTX 960-970, But keeping in mind that the budget must not go any higher than, lets say, 600 CAD$, I don't mind buyind used stuff since new stuff will be too expensive anyway. Second question, I saw that the EVGA 600w B1 was about 40 CAD$ on newegg at the moment, looked at the PSU Tier List and they say it's a tier 4, i just want to make sure that the PSU won't fry anything and be pretty reliable, i know this is not a best in-class PSU, but is it any good and trustable? or should i get him a better one (around 70$ max, capable of pushing ryzen 3 and a GTX 960-970, no need for modularity since the case don't have any window whatsoever.) Am i better off going with intel instead of Amd knowing that ram stick are like, just a bit less expensive than buying Bill Gates's house? AAANNNNDDDDD last question, is anyone on here having some stuff for sale IN CANADA on here (located in Quebec province, (checked a bit in the classifieds, but i don't want to order from the US, too much hassle and too expensive once conversion rate applied... (+/- 30% -_-) Thanks to you all in advance !!! Keep It UP great community!!!!! EDIT: I also want to plug the fans on switches, i got 3 prongs switches (16A 12V) does any of you know if it is gonna work? The build is gonna be like a racecar startup, Meaning switches for the fans (to imitate the switches on a racecar dash like ignition, fuel pump etc...) and a Push Start button. Fan switches are pretty similar to those : https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA9UP3HD9554&cm_re=16a_12v_switch-_-9SIA9UP3HD9554-_-Product
  13. i have this exact psu (550w), it's perfect, i have it since about 4-5 months, some youtube videos showed there was a kind of sound coming from the fan or internals, but i don't have this issue, maybe they corrected it, anyway, i have a 8600k and a gtx1080 running on it and everything works perfectly, can't even hear it while gaming in my Meshify c right besides me so, for me it is about the best deal you can get (i paid 75$ for it new (100$ - 25$ mail-in rebate)). Plus, it comes with velcro straps for cable management. Only one con for me, the cables have some kind of thing just before the mobo and gpu plugs that makes it pretty ugly to watch through my case's window, but i got the tinted glass so only rgb comes through.
