  1. This video was just great. It's almost like Steve and his crew were looking for bad PCs to bash, and the Alienware ticked all their boxes.
  2. It's funny how the position changes so quickly. I lost power for 8 days a while back, and I went from <600 up to @ 630. Oof! I'm trying to claw my way back!
  3. Yeah, I had to sign up. I've been running my rigs flat out for months doing F@H. I might as well get a badge for my trouble.
  4. I don't honestly think they're trolling their customers. I think they're just trying to drain them dry of whatever money they think they can get away with getting out of them. Don't forget, there are lots of Intel fanboys out there who will buy Intel no matter what. They know those fanboys will buy whatever incremental product Intel shovels out the door. When you have that kind of customer base, they believe they can afford to be complacent. I'm not one of those customers. I've had processors from both companies and don't care who makes my CPU as long as it's a good value and performs well. I picked my R9 3900X because Intel doesn't sell a 12-core CPU for $400. Before that, I had a R7 1700X because Intel didn't have an 8-core CPU for $350. Before that, I had an i7-4790K. Being a shopper now is far better than in the recent past because at least we have options. It reminds me of the old Athlon days of 2000 or so.
  5. Is it just me, or did the stat site go down? It's been down for a day or so for me.
  6. Yeah, I have two running as well. If they're getting multiple millions of WUs done, there must be some powerful hardware working there.
  7. Suck at gaming like the rest of us.
  8. Okay, I disconnected the Commander Pro from my fans, and that problem went away. The only issue I'm running into is random USB disconnects when the RGBs are running different multicolored schemes. Changing the RGB settings to "Temperature" seems to have resolved that issue though.
  9. Hey, if you guys have any pull with F@H, can you ask them about fixing the Web Control glitching in Chromium-based browsers?
  10. I wish I could say the same. Perhaps I could see if HWInfo is having the same effect...
  11. Oh yeah, I get the same thing. Funny thing is it only happens with the fans connected to my Commander Pro, not the fans connected directly to my motherboard. Also, the fans continually disconnect from the software. When I replace my Corsair H110i, I'm going to try connecting all my fans directly to the motherboard to see if that affects this odd iCue behavior.
  12. I’m in NY as well. I got my 1080Ti a few months ago for MSRP ($700). Now I feel like a genius getting it when I did. That same MSI card is $1200, if you can even finding one. ?
