  1. Giving up the wait and heading to the Events Centre.
  2. One green button-up shirt spotted so far, but the guy just looked at me funny when I asked if he was Cody.
  3. No worries; we are just chilling (as much as one can with hot coffee).
  4. I'm also interested if there's an opportunity for a group to gather after the event. Nearby would be good; the point is the people not the venue (though that'd be a nice bonus if possible.)
  5. Okay, that works as well; we shall see you there.
  6. Tim Hortons, 8590 200 St, Langley, BC V2Y 2B9, Canada
  7. Tim Hortons on 200 between 86 Ave and 84 Ave seems closest. 9:45am? I'll wear round glasses, a navy blue "Mobile UX Camp t-shirt and zip-off shorts. My hair is black, going white. My son will wear unkempt brown hair and beard and will likely be glued to a Nexus phone. I'm Al; he's Nathan.
  8. Having heartbreakingly waylaid invitations invoking the infamous pre-LTX western wind-up soirée, it is my hope that someone will take pity on us weary travelers and bestow upon us the time and location for the secret Saturday social breakfast bash and caffeine consumption cotillion. Or, if it's such a secret that you haven't heard of it either, how about we pick a convenient Tim Horton's and rendezvous there before LTX opens. Any takers?
  9. Thanks! I went ahead and requested an AirBnB in Surrey, just so I don't have to fret about sleeping on a park bench because LTX filled the entire town. (Which they might have done for AirBnB, come to think of it, I didn't see any listings there at all for Langley.) Hopefully the proprietor likes LTX and accepts the booking.
  10. Is there an agreed-upon or popular lodging venue that might offer us travelers the chance to socialize with other LTX attendees?
  11. I'm curious about this one as well.
