  1. Yeah. I am currently in the process of waiting for the new RAM to come in.
  2. I have an AOC E2752S. Nothing too nice. I'm running at Max settings at 1080p but why is it only 90 when the GPU usage is so low...
  3. I'm noticing my new PC is not running games at nearly the percent they should be. I've been testing this in League of Legends and I may get 90 FPS at most with the CPU being around 25% and the GPU at 15%. I used the same build as his Ryzen 5 1600 Build Guide: Ryzen 5 1600 MasterLiquid Lite 120 8 GB Vengeance LPX 3000MHz RAM (The other 8GB stick was defective) Phanteks P400S ASUS X370-Pro EVGA Supernova 650 G2 EVGA SuperClocked 2 GTX 1070 Seagate 1TB 7200 RPM HDD
  4. I am looking for reccomendations for components. I am looking to build a PC for roughly $1000-$1200. This would be used for gaming, streaming, and possibly small content creation. Im looking for a Bang-for-your-buck kinda build. I am also looking to build this around black friday/cyber monday. So any components that may go on sale during these times? This was my current list but I dont wanna spend as much money + I dont think this is very bang for my buck and more of a jumbled MESS: CPU: Intel - Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($309.99 @ SuperBiiz) CPU Cooler: Corsair - H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($139.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus - STRIX Z270-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($179.99 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($185.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($98.94 @ OutletPC) Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($66.88 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB D5X Video Card ($514.98) Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower Case ($64.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair - CXM 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($78.88 @ OutletPC) Total: $1640.63
  5. I plan to play maybe any big title games that are out now or in the future along with the basics (LoL, Overwatch, etc...) Honestly, its the first time I've picked the parts out myself and I am not that good at it. Any reccomendations are welcome!
  6. Looking for advice on my new build. I would like to hopefully keep it a little lower than the price it is currently at. I want a good balance between cost and performance while also looking asthetically pleasing. I do not think I will be going with the RGB RAM (even though it looks CLEAN). 7. Oh my bad. Didn't see that he was in security. I thought it said Computer Science. my bad!
  8. The CCNA is a great cert to grab as well as the CompTIA A+ certification.
  9. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I took some parts from both of your build recommendations and threw them in where I saw fits. I hope you guys think its a worthy computer.
  10. Thanks alot. I will take a look and fix it!
  11. Why go for the these components instead? I'm just curious for reasoning. I'm also trying to budget it a LITTLE bit atleast. Would like to keep it under $1600-$1700. I'm still relatively unfamiliar with whats better than what so any explanation I can get is best. Thanks.
  12. This is my second personal computer build. My last one was about 2 and a half years ago. Looking to build a new one to keep up with the ever-changing technology game. This build was gaming focused while also keeping the RGB component alive and well.
