  1. @Droidbot trying to keep it intel and this isn't a permanent system, I'm only putting in a 1050 ti and core i5 until October when ill be able to afford to buy a 1080 ti and a core i7 and by December ill have more funds to get another 1080 ti if I decide whether or not I want to put in sli. I'm already using the cablemod configurator but I still don't know exactly what cables I need, you answered none of my questions so if you cant answer them feel free to not reply.
  2. I have all my parts picked out at the moment but I wanted to buy some cable mod cables to make the final build look good but I have no idea what cables i'll need to buy for all the stuff I have. if anyone can help me out it would be gratefully appreciated and I also didn't quite know how big of a power supply I would need because I didn't really know how much everything would consume with overclocking and under load so if you have a better idea on what psu I should use that would be great and I still don't know what case fans I should be getting. 3. in the notes of this build I'm about to buy it says it cant verify whether or not the gtx 1080 strix video cards will fit in the dark base pro 900 atx full tower, can anyone let me know if it will comfortably fit in this case? I tried other graphics cards and it said the same thing. 4. @TheDankKoosh I really don't plan on using that entire budget anymore, max of 3000 and minimum of 2500 cad is the price range and the rest will be kept safe in case I need repairs or upgrades.
  5. @lee32uk thanks for the suggestion, ill look into your list.
  6. @lee32uk LG 25UM58-P 25" 21:9 UltraWide IPS Monitor with Screen Split, Black already purchased
  7. @brob needless to say I'm not going to spend $4,500 on a pc, that's pretty overkill. probably going to be between $2,000 and $2,500
  8. in my other thread I was recommended to use Intel i7-7700k, is there in distinguishable difference between the intel I7 and ryzen 7? I have limited knowledge of amd products.
  9. @Ordinarily_Greater @Squarq I want all of the budget to be put into the pc, I have all other accessories paid for already. my viewers want me to stream the new gears of war but with my current pc I can only manage 11 fps avg on medium graphics, my setup also has an intel i5 so it makes streaming those types of games difficult.
  10. I recently made a post for some help to find components for a streaming/gaming capable pc for around $1,200 cad, I found out I'm getting a bonus and pay raise at work so I'm going to wait about a month and my new budget is going to be around $4,600, if anyone can help me with a parts list for around that budget I would greatly appreciate it. I already have all the peripherals I need.
  11. I've decided to wait about a month and a half, I found out through my boss that I'm getting a bonus and a raise at work so by the end of august my new budget should be around $4500.
  12. @herman mcpootis @LeinadTM I'll look into both builds, I'm going to look into the difference between AMD and intel because I have yet to learn the difference. Thanks for the suggestions.
  13. @herman mcpootis how well would that build handle streaming through twitch/youtube while running high/very high graphics?
  14. I get my paychecks monthly so by august 15th my budget could be between $1900 and $2100.
  15. no I do not, I pre purchased all of those a few weeks ago. LG 25UM58-P 25" 21:9 UltraWide IPS Monitor with Screen Split, Black I have windows 10 pro 64-bit ready to be installed when I get the pc built and have already bought a keyboard and mouse and speakers.
