  1. In a PS3 CPU i'm trying to repair the trace but i want to know how it's connected. I already scrapped away the area that was damaged i put two small wires size of the trace and i put flux lightly soldered it but PS3 still keeps failing. It just seems know one has got an idea where excatly this traces go to. I guess i will have to be lucky and some electronic engineer finds my question. I circled the area in red and traces. Its on the bottom of the chip.
  2. I don't see it. No. There is nothing damaged on the visible traces. I've checked it multiple times. The only thing that is scratched is that part on the bottom right. Just makes no sense that i'm getting ylod.
  3. Sorry. I coudn't think of anywhere to post this. I tried reddit, psx scene etc. all those websites won't let me post. I don't even know why i have accounts there. Hoping it posts here. So here is a pic of the PS3 CPU. I delided both chips but i scratched an area on the bottom right area. Now from what i've seen there is no traces around that area but after deliding the PS3 gives me YLOD. At first it gave me a black screen for about 4 - 5 seconds then an extremely loud fan noise probably because it overheated and then it shut down. So i left it like that. Next day i dissambled it and repasted the system and made sure everything was making contact with each other. Thats where i am getting YLOD. Thing is. I am thinking it has to do with that scratch on the CPU. But there is no traces that got damaged. Unless there is a trace around that area that got damaged. Anyone know much about the PS3's Cell CPU? Maybe someone can point me out for sure that i did damage a trace. If it's not a trace that got damaged. I don't know what else it could be. Before deliding it was working fine. ( i was playing black ops 1 and 2 ) Hoping someone knows for sure.
  4. My black ops 4 emblem. Shelby GT500 with that widebody.  Also have a Camaro ZL1.

  5. Ok found solution. It's using a ultra wide screen hack. Program called Flawless Widescreen. Now i can run 640x480. Can't believe this toaster can run Morrowind and Kotor. lol I thought at first i woudnt even be able to launch the games. Only forgot to mention Morrowind was giving me 0xc000005 error crashes so all it was setting a recommend paging file of 1gb. Also this is running in Windows 10 32bit. Also running Emulators on it. Xebra runs good in mode 2 (little fast) everything else default.
  6. I have this IBM Think centre with an Intel 82945g express family chipset. Probably integrated. It has a Pentium 4 1.60ghz and 3GB of Ram. I'm just experimenting on the PC. I already have a gaming PC that can play the latest games in high settings. Anyways. Like what i try to do with this PCs is try to squeeze all optimal settings it can handle. 2 of the games i'm testing are Morrowind and KOTOR. Two of my favorite games. Morrowind is able to run at 640x480 and it gets a FPS boost. Its very playable. If i play it at 800x600 it's still playable but there is like 4 - 5 frame drops. So 640 x 480 literally everything is low. The chipset doesn't even have shader support So i'm not even running shaders for the water. I think it only has 1.0. But all that matters is that it's playable. Now KOTOR is the one that doesn't let me choose 640x480. It can only do 800x600 lowest. But oh man. The FPS is just awful. Playing on lowest setting. I feel like 640x480 would give me a big boost in fps and allow me to maybe use medium textures. Hopefully. Those low textures are good in some areas but in some objects it's abysmal. I already tried going into the .ini files. Running compatibility settings. Running different color modes. Nothing works. I really would like to find a way to run the game at 640x480. Thank yuuuuuu. Wonder why they didn't support that resolution? Its a 2003 video game. hmm weird.
  7. I don't think my asus supports xtu. I'm okay with the options i have. I have control over the turbo and max frequency.
  8. Well i found a solution. It involves going into the registry (regedit) and enableing some features that on my ASUS were disabled Like maximum frequency and min and max CPU power and i also disabled turbo mode. So now my asus doesn't go in to turbo at all.
  9. Well i used to able to do it last year on Xebra. Maybe there was a short cut key that limited the fps on the emulator? Can't remember i tried all keys but don't get anything. But i do remember lowering the frequency before.
  10. Ah. Well just wanted to know if it was possible. No i don't have issues with over heat or anything like that. Also because i would like to lower the fps in FF9 to like 10 fps so that i can do the jump rope challenge. If i can disable boost i can keep it at like 0.70ghz enough to lower the emulator fps. I remember being able to do it before last year on windows 10. Have you use Xebra by any chance?
  11. Issue? Only issue is i can't lower it. I remember that before i updated Windows 10 it would go down below the base frquency. But now when i updated it now it just says at 1.88ghz only when i run the emulator. But i just want to run it at 1.33 ghz. When i don't run emuator it says at like 0.60ghz - 0.70ghz.
  12. No i don't. It doest show option for percetange. Only for power level 1 - 5 and acoustic level 1 - 5 i have them both set at level 1. Edit oh wait i do sorry. I just don't have the min and max.
  13. I also tried to lower the priority in the emulator i'm using to lowest possible and affinity to only 1 core but nothing happens to the frequency its still at 1.88ghz. i got nothing in back ground. I only use this tablet for ps1 emulator thats all i use.
  14. Nothing happens. And it's not like in my PC. Where i can set the percentage. It ASUS tablet you only get power limit levels 1 - 5 and acoustic limit level 1 - 5. I set to level 1 .
  15. It's ASUS tablet base frequency is 1.33ghz when i'm running an emulator it goes up to 1.88ghz i just want a way to disable the turbo boost. Went to bios there is nothing. Tried lowering in power management. Hopeing somone knows here. Tried searching all around google and i dont find anything.
