  1. i never said you havn't. I just have a theory that most people havn't
  2. OP, you should of added another question in the poll 'have you ever had extensive (daily) experience with a mac? i think most of these people are just hating on mac.
  3. I have a macbook (got it from school) and i do like some of it's features. Spaces or whatever its called now is AMAZING. I also like the cimple things like that app that tells you what song is playing everytime you skip or finish the song (don't know what it is called'. Now if you were to ask if i would buy one? probably not. If i was given a free laptop and i was given the choice of a macbook and a windows laptop, i would take the macbook because i can easily install windows if i see fit. I don't need an i5 on my laptop nor do i need 8gb of ram since i will ALWAYS get on my windows desktop for intensive stuff. i wouldn't even get an imac or mac pro though.....
  4. 80c degrees man. 80+ c will not kill your parts but having a high fan speed will defs do me head in BIG TIME. My cpu is silent no matter what i throw at it (no OC with a 212 evo) but the gpu is annoying. However, my cousin had this 6950 from saphire and the fan sound was loud but not annoying. If i had that cooler, i wouldn't mind. If i take off my oc, my . But my card has an annoying fan that irritates the sh*t out of me . It is hard to explain. It won't keep the same noise. It like pulses a higher pitch ever other second. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5zwRz7sJrU&feature=youtu.be i put the fan at 100% to make it easiier to hear on video. It only goes up to 56% fan speed when gaming and silent when i take off my OC
  5. defs worse. Because everyone would be the same!
  6. Do you want me to right a 2 page essay at size 12 font and single spacing on ariel/time new roman to show that i agree with said statement?

  8. No you have mixed the two around. Also, It is just up-scaling it to 1080p which will not lend any visual improvement. Blu ray will make a big difference in gaming as you will not have to change the stupid disc half way through the game. They show the ps3 version of the game because it most likely is the better version. However, I think the difference between the 2 is too small. Just get one your friends are on. If you have no friends that are getting it, get the ps3 version. Having to put a disc in this day and age is already stupid. Having to change it half way through is just ridiculous
  9. I honestly don't know how it looks! i can't see it
  10. That is not a gaming build. hmmmm. Double the price. $700-$800 is the sweet spot and best bang for buck when it comes to PC building. What are you talking about with'does not have good value'. If you work it out, the 760 will have less $per frame. A mid range graphics card can last you a while. History can prove this with a card like a 560ti. a value orientated card released in january 2011 and it can still play new games at decent settings and framerates at 1080p resolutions.
  11. Tell me what country you live. But for $700, you should get something like an amd fx6300 and a 7870/50. Get a 970 chipset motherboard and the cheapest 8gb memory you can get. I know you preferred intel but your budget soimply does not permit. seagate barracuda 500gb or 1tb depending on your storage needs. Get a 500w+ power supply from a reputable brand like seasonic, corsair, xfx, silverstone, antec and so on. It's hard to suggestspecific powersupplies and motherboards because not all stores stock the same stuff. Edit: You can get a 760 depending on where you live because a 760 is $320+ in australia while only $250 in USA. I'm going to assume you live in USA though so get a 760. Prefferably an asus dcuII
  12. the nvidia 600 series a better choice than amd 7000? 7000 series competing with nvidia 500? That must be the most fanboyish thing i have ever heard! 7950 beats a 660ti and 670.
  13. mark his as the best answer solved thingy.
  14. i want to reinstall windows 8 to my hdd as a clean boot. Problem is, when i choose which hard drive to install it too, Windows says that 'Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.' I have an MSi h77ma g43 and it is in 'ahci' sata mode. I have disconnected all the other drives but it doesn't help. Does anyone know why it's doing this? How do i fix this? I need to get it fixed ASAP because i am having a party and i need my computer to work to keep the antisocial people entertained.
