  1. I would advise to check wifi settings. I was suffering for all the abobe. My problem was that my wifi router had both 2.4 and 5gz activated and auto. My pc would connect to 5gz for a while and drop conection while transfering to 2.4. Try disabling 5gz in the router and see if there is improvement.
  2. Used to have the same exact problem, same device. What worked for my at the time and keeps working: I was running several PCs (2 windows and 1 mac) on the network. NAS did not show up on my main rig (windows), but the others could see them. Now, every time I turned off both windows pc, the first windows pc that I turned on would see the NAS. The second windows pc could not see the NAS. I could only access the NAS (for the second pc) through IP and web. Mac always showed the NAS without a problem. I guess the first pc was stealing the rights to use the NAS?! I solved by turning one windows PC on, and maping or setting the NAS folder (main shared folder) under favorites. I repeated the process with the second one. Now, every time I want to access the nas I just click under favorites. It does not matter if it was detected or shows under network. It works. I guess you could try it if you have several windows pc. If you solved any other way, I am interested, please share.
  3. Thanks you guus for the tips. Ill map and install a shortcut to that ip address. It was not the solution i was looking for, but it will work just fine. Sorry the late thanks.
  4. Yes, I got all network discovery turn on in private and guest or public. I was looking at my brothers pc in order to see his settings and I got them exactly as his. Now, listen to this amazing issue; while I was looking his pc, I did not find the NAS under network (he had it 2 hours back working OK). I can see it now on my pc!!! OMG Could it be some king of first pc to log in into the NAS get the privileges? of course, I got two different users for the NAS, one his and one mine. His pc was asleep when I turn mine on. How can I map it since I could not find it earlier? Now that I see it, do I have to map every single folder? Edit to say: I searched all over google regarding this issue, apparently a lot of people have it or similar. Not sure how to solve it yet.
  5. Good day to all. I am here again to ask for your infinite wisdom. I have a WD EX2 Ultra (NAS). My problem is that the NAS does not appear under network on file explorer. It does appear where all network devices are shown, but when I click it, it takes me to the NAS IP config page. My brothers pc (which is exactly as mine) can connect without issues. My laptop mac can connect without issues. If I use run and input the NAS' IP, I can connect edit and work on the NAS folder, but if I close that file explorer it goes away again. I tried: Turning everything on in advance sharing rebooting all devices possible Plz help. If you need pics let me know.
  6. I think I got it I use my brother PC (he has exactly the same pc as I do) and copied all Amd (GPU drivers) and MS Office system files. I forced pasted them into my program system files and apparently the issue has been resolve. Why did it happen? IDK. Anyways, thanks for your help guys.
  7. Online repair. Fail. Update AMD drivers. Fail. Any other ideas? This is what happens when I double click on a shaded cell.
  8. I just re-installed office 365. Still issues on those files. Should I tried installing office 365 in another directory/Location? Contact sysadmin? Sorry, it is my computer. I do not belong to any network-server or similar. I am at this moment repairing excel online (Programs - Microsoft office - modify - repair online) I am waiting.
  9. Good day Guys, I need help with MS Excel 365 (Desktop version). I've been trying to fix it for days with no luck. (google, youtube, forums, etc) Excel is a very important tool in my job and it has been a nightmare. Issue: All colored cells appear white (no color), if I try to color them I get a black box. (cell shading, fill color, etc) Every time I click TAB to go forward one cell, I get black cells in the whole row or sometimes in the cell I just left. When opening an excel file with this issue, I usually get a big black box covering most cells. What I tried: This does not happen to other excel files on the same pc, in the same folder. I tried "damaged" files on another pc, and everything works as it should. I create a new sheet inside the "damaged" excel file and it works fine. I tried clearing all rules in conditional formatting (I've never used conditional formation) I tried on/off high contrast on windows. These "damaged" excel files come from progressive files. What I mean is: I have file 1, 2, 3 up to 52. For every week in a year. 2 has traces of 1, and Etc. I am at file 38 (38th week in the year) when I started experiencing these issues. All files 1-38 are damaged. However, other excel files with a different names (no relation) within the same folder are OK. Finally, I've never opened file 1 through 35 in weeks, and have same symptoms. THESE FILES WORK FINE ON OTHER COMPUTERS. I attached two pictures. On picture "1" you will see a black box. I actually try to fill or shade that particular cell in yellow. Picture "2" is what I usually get when I open a "damaged" excel file; behind all black I have data. (both colored, and black and white) Sorry the long post, I am desperate. If you need any extra info, just let me know.
  10. Thanks you all! I will take a closer look at the Panasonic on the second post.
  11. Good day all. Hope I place the post where it belongs. We are a small business hoping to get rid of paper. We have tons of invoices, receipts, BOLs and other documents. I tried searching online but I just got "standard" looking scanners. I wanted help into choosing an scanner that will help us in our goal of going digital; and not losing more invoices (warranties) Scanner requirements: Scan bulk quantities of documents Produce searchable PDF (indexing) Be able to place on tray different paper sizes (may be) Network capable (maybe wireless) Efficiency or speed should not be an issue, but something reliable regarding stuck papers. Thanks
