  1. It looks promising, I'll give it a shot, Thanks Andrew.
  2. That's what i was fearing. :[ .. alright well thanks.
  3. I've searched a lot online, but with no luck =[ Anyone on here know if its even possible to dim the second monitor while watching a movie? I tried turning off the unused monitor, just to have the movie start stuttering.
  4. Is dell ultrawides any good? I got nothing but dells at work, i had dual 24", and then recently dual 27" dell monitors and i hate the colors, making sure both have every color/contrast/brightness the same, I got one looking reddish, one looking bluish, and no amount of tinkering with the settings can get them to conform to each others. That's why i been running away from the dell brand for my home setup.
  5. I'm like 70cm away from my screen -.- man why is this so hard. Back when i didn't have money, i just brought the most budget monitor i could have that went up to 144hz and lived with that.. and now. too many damn choices.
  6. Well the money is the one issue why i haven't brought it at yet. How about the LG 34UC89G-B it's 34" but 1080p but everything else i'd want in a monitor. It runs usually at around 750 USD typically, price keeps changing on me from place to place. but reviewers like Linus say its pretty pixelated at 1080p. What do you guys think of that monitor?
  7. Looking for an ultrawide so i can watch sweet movies. Right now I got two 24" asus monitors. One pg248q and one vg248qe. Have any suggestions for a good ultrawide thats won't put my 1070 through the stresser. I keep reading that if i want ultrawide 1440p at high refresh rates/ultra graphics, I'll need to buy a 1080ti.. Which i'm thinking of doing, but i'm trying to be rational and not spend too much
  8. Thinking about sinking 799.99 USD on this monitor. I have a single asus rog strix 1070, I like running everything on ultra and figured 1440p 34in would be too much of a strain on my lone 1070. What are your thoughts on this monitor?
  9. So I have a need for a wireless headphone with a range of 15-20 feet. I brought a wireless bluetooth sennheiser earlier, but the ear cups were too small and they cut out at about 10-11 feet. So just asking if anyone here has some recommendations for some decent wireless over the ear headphones (big comfortable ear cups are a plus) and a method to boost the wireless signal to 15-20 feet if required. Thanks.
  10. Might make the upgrade then, and wait for that Anthem game before getting the 1080 ti lol What games/settings do you play out of curiosity?
  11. Yeah, looks like you and I are in the same boat, lol. Let me know how everything works out and if you'll be upgrading to a 1080ti xD. EVGA is having a 1080ti plus destiny 2 bundle i believe if that's your thing. But yeah, let me know how things work out for you. (sorry for late reply)
  12. Think i read an article last week that said, that volta won't be coming anytime soon. I have a 1070 right now, since Vega seems like a bust, thinking of getting a asus PG348Q gsync monitor and upgrading my 1070 to a 1080ti, wondering if ill be running max fps at ultra settings.
  13. What about the 1080 ti. how many frames will that get?
  14. Yeah I want to span the game across all three monitors, I know Gsync won't work across all three monitors unless they all have Gsync, just wondering if Say I'm playing overwatch would the two non Gsync monitors perform poorly while the Gsync one performs? And reviews always complain about IPS and blacklight bleed, Well when looking at Asus or Acer Monitors, I've used TN panels all my life and I didn't even know about blacklight bleed till I started researching on the ultrawides.
  15. I have a dual monitor setup right now running an Asus VG248QE and Asus PG248Q with gsync for my main gaming monitor, they are powered by an Asus Rog Strix 1070 GPU and an intel I7 6700k. I want to make an upgrade but I'm not sure how to go about it. Should I go for the whole three monitors one screen approach or buy one big 34" ultrawide. So got a couple of questions regarding both the choices. Three monitors - If i buy a third monitor Could I get away with buying another VG248QE, having my PG248Q as my center monitor with Gsync, and will the viewing/playing experience be decent, or Will I need to buy two PG248Q monitors all with gysnc to have the games be playable. (I'm worried if I go with the VG248QE monitors there will be screen tearing on the sides since they dont have Gsync, but i'm not that knowledgeable on that stuff.) Ultrawide - If i buy the ultrawide It will probably be one of the ACER or ASUS 34" monitors with Gsync, but the one drawback is the IPS panels and their blacklight bleed. I never had an IPS monitor so I'm not sure how bad the black light bleed will be and would it ruin the experience. I saw on a response on Amazon from Asus I believe, that the nature of IPS means there will always be blacklight bleed and you can only minimize it but it would always be there. Which worries me. Any help or thoughts or comments will be appreciated. Thanks.
