Did CPU stress test and blue screens a minute in all default settings different ram doesn't change anything Assume CPU is dud?

Both GPU around like 60-70% utilisation CPU isn't even at 50% with game MSI afterburner and chrome in background No individual core is spiking either

Overwatch is at its lowest settings for both I've been told that it is a very 'ram intensive' game and when we have swapped the ram out my friend does get an increase in performance but it is definitely being held back by their gpu

8700k 2x16gb 4000mhz from 2x8gb 2400mhz Gtx 1080ti I got new ram in the hope I would be able to get more FPS as I'm stuck on around 200 current in overwatch. My friend has a very similar setup 8086k 4x8gb 3200mhz Gtx 1060 And manages to get 300+ consistently I can't see anything bottle necking (nothing redlining and I'm at a loss on what I need to check) I've reinstalled windows changed drivers etc

pc starts with a jump start but idk why the front io isnt working

im helping a friend build a pc over discord, the pc recieves power can see from gpu led indicator but power button wont start pc no fans turning or anything the jfp 1 connector is plugged in seemingly proper but its not chooching cpu and atx connectors are in i think but still not powering up so ive just got him checking all the connectors are in place atm any other suggestions?

friend wants to upgrade his cpu cooling solution and cant get the backplate off the mobo is ms-7a61 and the cooler is noctua nh u14s and it wont work with the existing backplate anybody that can help?

I got it it's an i72600 with a quadro k620 and 16gb of ddr3 so not that bad a haul I don't think

I actually do not know who you are or where you came from but you are actually a godsend I do not know how that worked but it seems to have done the trick booted first time took about 5x as long but man thank you so much

Basically I was trying to get above 5GHz on my i5 4690k and I accidentally miss typed and put in 1.9v.... pc won't boot system still "turns on" fans wirrrr etc but doesn't post I'm definitely thinking dead CPU but I've cleared cmos and well nothing still should I give up hope ? And if so do you think this would be a good time to upgrade platforms or just move to an i7?

so I was on zotacs website (im scouting out a possible graphics card was looking at the amp extreme or and Asus strix 1070), and I saw a reference card branded under zotacs name? what is the difference? is it essentially the same card but with higher quality components?

i was thinking around 800ish pounds, i dont know what to really do with my current setup if i did that

So right now I have a Pentium g3258 @4.4ghz, on an MSI Krait z97 motherboard, with two 7870's in crossfire, with 12gb of ram 2 sticks of 2 and one of 8. I was thinking about upgrading to ryzen, because im going to university in september, and ill be using c.a.d. and c.a.m. software, as well as coding (no coding anything extream its just with what little i try to do my system it seems to not be all to happy with recurring scripts that take a long time to run. (im looking at reducing time),as well as this i was looking at gaming on some light gaming on AAA titles, but mostly overwatch battlefield etc. I was thinking an RX580/570. i dont know if its worth the upgrade, as im going to have to upgrade most of the system, just to feature a new CPU. im unsure if i should stick with my current socket and save money or what, sorry there isnt realy a question hear more a i dont know whats happening
