    I removed then added back in the network device to the vm and that fixed the issue, note that it will change the server if you dont have a static one set up

    no non of the services have been messed with and its in a vm just cause it was easier for me to set up truenas but it shouldn't be the problem

    hello, I recently had to upgrade my xfinity gateway and after that i realized i cant connect to my nas (trunas in a proxmox vm) smb share even though seemingly nothing has changed every time i try to connect to the smb share i get this error plz help me if you can

    idk what it did i fiddle with grub a bit and the windows stopped showing up and then i ran windisk check using Hiren’s BootCD on a usb and it came back this was more of me messing with the boot manager but i just wanted to make sure i do it right the first time so i dont have to mess to much with the boot loader

    I want to install manjaro along side of windows 10 on my gaming laptop (i5 10500h and a 3060) but i want to install manjaro on the second drive in the laptop and idk what to do for the boot partition for manjaro because its not on the same drives and the as the windows boot manager I'm pretty sure it won't be a problem but I know Linux can be weird sometimes and I have also I have lost a win10 installation form something similar to what I'm trying to do now so I want to make sure I install it right and this is my first time in stalling Linux on to a computer with a nividia gpu so I would like know if their any thing special i need to do to get the drivers to work because I have heard how weird they can be plz help if you can and sorry for this being a simply question I just can't for the life of me seem find the info I need else where

    i am moving my home server form truenas server to a proxmox server with a truenas vm but idk how to move all the data off the old server to the new. i think i can just take the config file and drives from the old server pass through the drives to the vm and load the config file and that will work but again i don't know every time i google this i get answers so things similar on what im trying to do but exact so plz let me know if just passing the drive to the vm and loading the config file or if the is a better way

    this is a dumb question but my budget is under $1000 and i found 3050 laptops with in my budget, but i found a Zephyrus G14 within my budget with a 1650 which i have hear is an extremely good laptop. so my dilemma is should i get a laptop with up to date specs, or get a well reviewed supposedly reliable laptop that out dated. keep in mind this is gonna be my man PC for the next 4 years cause of college (mechanical engineering), hence why I'm being super picky and double checking everything.     hello, my friend took the guts of his OMEN 30L Desktop ( core i9 10th gen with a 3070) and put it in a new case to put more fans in. while doing this he upgraded the mobo to the Asus prime z590-a and the Ethernet will not work. we have updated the bios it did nothing we have turned on and off the intel LAN setting also did nothing and we can't find anything on line that will help Also he can't log in because it wants him to reset his pin by signing into his Microsft account which he can't do with out internet plz help if you can

    i found a solution follow what Juan Merlos says on this thread till step 11, then when you get into safe mode run DDU again and have it shut down your pc put back in your gpu turn on your pc and then reinstall your drivers and make sure u can hit the restart button at the end of the install and you should be good. btw you need integrated graphics for this to work thread link(also embedded above): https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/black-screen-after-installing-a-new-graphics-card-a-bit-of-a-noob.1356753/

    hello, i have a i5 3470 with a rx 560 and had to reinstall the divers cause they got messed upped and now i have a completely black screen except for a mouse courser i used ddu and installed the recomended drivers for my gpu and after the install all i got was the black screen then tried pluggiing the monitor into the on board graphics and got the same thing plz help if you can Video.mov

    yes that is what i was looking for but theres a lot of latency and it doesn't like theres a way to fix it

    hello, is there any free software that will let send the audio from my laptop to my main pc as if it was a Bluetooth speaker cause it doesn't work normally for some reason (probably cause i used a cheap bt dongle). plz help if you can

    Budget $300(would like to stay under as much as possible) Country: U.S.A esports, some AAA games (farcry 5 doom eternal ect) 1080p Other details; i have a i5 3470 16gb ram and a rx 560(2gb), ive been trying to plan out an upgrade but price on both the use market and the new market aren't great. so far i will proably upgrade my cpu to a i5 3570k, but for the gpu im kinda lost im looking at an rx 570 (4gb) or 1060 (3gb) because the prices don't seem horrible. plz help if you can
