  1. Tom's Hardware did a comparison in their Dark Base review: I doubt 1-2db difference is even audible, in addition the Evolv has far better temps and airflow than the Dark Base - I'm going with the Phanteks! Thanks for the help everyone!
  2. I wonder if Valve is actually going to do anything interesting, or will it be the usual push for trading cards. I miss the old sales, summer camps, treasure hunts etc where you could even get free games from the different mini games.
  3. Yeah, from the Tom's Hardware review: Full Review Unless you plan on going 3 way SLI or something in the future I wouldn't worry about it.
  4. Tomshardware mentioned in a review that the Evolv is actually too small to fit EATX. I would go with the Phanteks Evolv, from the reviews I've read it's got good airflow and it looks great.
  5. Rats. I wish some of the reviewers did a sound test with the case, I haven't been able to find any.
  6. It's a sweet looking case. How's the sound isolation? I really like how quiet the dark base pro seems to be in reviews. I'm using an air cooler so airflow is important for me, but I wonder how they compare in sound isolation, I love "silent" builds.
  7. I cant decide between: be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG Phanteks Enthoo Luxe TG What would you pick and why?
  8. I'd go with the h440, it's roomier.
  9. Tempered glass is nice, but acrylic is ok, highest priority is how quiet the case is. Noctua list the cooler height with fans as 165 mm, and Fractal Design lists the case as supporting coolers up to 180mm so it should fit.
  10. Just google "overwatch crash to desktop" you'll find a bunch of threads, and hopefully a solution.
  11. By quit out do you mean to main menu or crash to desktop? Blizzard forums might be helpful if it's a common problem.
  12. Thanks for the replies, Interesting that you mention MSI, I watched a review of their M7 mobo which showed the preset OCs - I'm thinking that way I can get a bit extra out of my hardware without having to spend a lot of time tweaking. @Morgan MLGman Those look good. What's the benefit of going 2x16gb over 4x8gb, ability to add another 32gb later?
  13. After almost 8 years I should hope so. You seem to have somehow managed to entirely miss the point that the difference isn't as significant as one might expect after all these years.
  14. I need help selecting ram for my upcoming 7700k / z270 build, I haven't bought ram in a while and have no idea where to start for the current generation. I want to get 32gb, don't intend to do any heavy OC and LED bling is unessential but I don't mind it.
