  1. So go with the hero right and get the 8700k
  2. Yea, I do want to upgrade at some point so i do want at least 2 years out of the board. but yea get the 8700k too damn that's hard to choose
  3. Yea the PSU is a dangerous battle, mine killed what i have so go with corsair
  4. Ok ignore the gpu i just sold it and am waiting out on buying a new one
  5. Id like to stay with Asus, so what board and psu you're right I'm changing it one sec
  6. I'm split between the Asus ROG Maximus x code and the Asus ROG Maximus x Apex. Can you help me out with which to chose. I'd be interested in OCing the CPU at least. the rest of the build https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Camell513/saved/7fkHxr The Ram isn't that exact one, it runs at 3466 not 2666
  7. So I found that my pc wasnt on when i came after a snack. Found it was the psu that wasnt working. Got a new one and tried to boot. Wouldnt boot. Checked if the new psu works. It works. The I plug only the 24 pin, gpu and sata in. It boots. Plug in the 8pin cpu power. It wont boot. Pc specs Fx9590 Sabertooth 990fx gen 3 Corsair vengeance 2400 2x 8g sticks First, dead psu, rosewill photon 1050wat Second, working psu, Random 750 wat psu, it works but temporary. I think that the cpu might be dead. Im ripping about to take it apart more to check. Anyone else have this problem. Anything else to check.
  8. Ok, idk if there is that much btw I like that "the only reason I'm here is because I have homework that don't want to do" lol me too
  9. I mean it doesn't have the crazy stuff Asus has, but the full on 4 way SLI support and enough USB ports for a normal person, and the expansion for more if you need it you should be fine. And the price of $40 is hard to beat. And if you hate it you're only out 40 dollars and that's not a crazy amount, but it will get you started on the x99 atleast
  10. Yea that's a hell of a steal, that mobo has 3.0 and wifi for $40 and more, now I know you won't use the WiFi but it still nice. Deffinelty if I could get that right now, I'd be stealing that from you Lol. I'll take that 6600k tho if you don't want it
  11. What are the components you plan on putting in it
  12. For the video rendering and stuff, the 6850k for 200 is a steal considering that the cheapest I can find retail is $150+ to your price. Also considering that you're going to use it for more than just gaming that the whole combo would be a great deal. The only question is do you want the fancier tech and are willing to fork over that money that something like the 8700k brings, or are you fine with what that Cpu and board brings?
