  1. I'm trying to set up LanCache on Windows using Docker desktop (Docker-Compose). I have gotten it 90% of the way there but am running into a roadblock. After I start to download anything on steam I look at the files in the container and I can see the Cache being created but those files are never moved out of the container to the network drive that I have it pointed to. Same with Log Files. The "Cache" and "Log" Folders shown below are the folders. If I delete them and run the container it even creates the folders so I know it's able to see the drive. I've tried everything I could think of and find online so here I am.
  2. We use N-Able at work and it's pretty good for the most part!
  3. The main thing is that it's going though a backboard and then to the Raid Controller so even the MB is seeing it as 1tb.
  4. I'm not super worried about data loss. It's just a media server and the way I have set-up I can fetch it all again with 1 button press.
  5. Also this is my first external home server I'm trying to setup. Up until now, i've been running Plex,Sonarr,Etc all off my main workstation. It's just getting a little out of hand with all of the hard drives hanging out of it now due to the lack of bays
  6. I got an old server from work for free that has some Raid Cards in it but when I slot in my 8TB Drive it sees it as 931 GBs. I've updated the firmware after MANY issues and the issue is the same. I've heard about flashing it into IT mode but I don't want to go through all of that if it's not going to resolve the issue. Does anyone know if that would allow it to detect the drive correctly or is it a waste of time? I don't really need RAID just a JBOD. If I'm out of luck what are some other raid cards I could use that are in a good price range that would work with those 8TB Drives?
  7. well shit. No wonder it's not working anymore
  8. My ISP runs IPV6 if I disable it on my PC should that fallback to IPV4 or is is going to mess something up
  9. I attempted to set up this build that they had here (https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/962655-steam-caching-tutorial/) a while ago but never really got it working due to my inexperience with Linux. Any way something like this could be done on Windows?
  10. See I have never OC through the Bios and do not feel safe doing so
  11. So I have a great i5-7600k that I have always clocked at anywhere from 4.9 to 5.1Ghz (1.32V) with no issues. Ever since this newest Windows 10 Update (The one to fix meltdown and such) my OC settings have not been saving and I have to re OC after every startup. (I use Intel Extreme Tuning)
