Just found a couple benchmarks of Fortnite with my specs, On ultra it's AVG is about 190 FPS on 1080p but with my setup I can't play ultra without getting 40fps on AVG. Anyone have any ideas?

After me just getting another 144Hz monitor with g-sync this time, i can tell you right now g-sync really doesnt make a difference for me (I play competitively in Fortnite and R6)

I am having issues with my cpu and gpu and performance, I have a feeling that something is slowing them down as people are getting higher scores than me with the same specs provided. Specs: i5 8400 @ 2.8GHz (6C/6T) Cooler master hyper 212 led turbo GTX 1060 6GB 8GB DDR4 (unbranded and dont know the speed) 450w psu gigabyte B360M H benchmarks: (I just replaced the thermal paste on the cpu and gpu right before these screenshots) I used some cooler master mastergel pro on both. Unigine heaven benchmark 4.0 Cinebench R15; CPU and GPU Scores:

I havent played on a 144hz monitor for even 240hz. So i might go and have a look in a store to see if i can notice a difference! Thank you for the interest though!

If its casual light gaming the GTX 750TI or GT 1030 are both good options to go with. The site that i use for compatibility is pcpartpicker as it will tell you if its compatible or not.

Hello all! I am wanting to get a monitor for my pc as i believe my current monitor being a 1080p 60hz is holding me back in games such as CSGO, My friends have all recently upgraded to 144hz panels and they can seem to notice a big difference! On of them even told me they think 60fps looks trash compared to 144fps! (I can understand what they mean by 60hz is bad considering they seem to always do better than before) I am potentially looking at upgrading as i have the money at the moment but im not looking to spend alot (£200 Max I live in the uk).# Here are my pc specs at the moment(you might need this to see if its worth the upgrade): CPU: Intel i5 8400 @ 2.8GHZ Motherboard: Gigabyte B360M H RAM: 8GB DDR4 (Some OEM Manufacturer) GPU: GTX 1060 6GB Current Monitor: https://www.lg.com/africa/monitors/lg-24MP56HQ-P Let me know if you if you have any idea!
