  1. Yeah thats how it usually is prices start out high then dropped down, what about peripherals? Ive seen some nice keyboard and mouse go on sale on amazon
  2. Trying to pick up a second ps4 controller.
  3. Honestly you have pretty good parts. No need to upgrade psu won't make much difference. You should probably upgrade your sdd to a bigger one though. You could try getting a 980 but that might be out your budget. That would make the biggest difference in term of performance in games.
  4. Yeah I wouldn't recommend the EVGA Hybrid 980ti if your going for silence, I bought one from amazon and it was really loud at idle, the pump made a vibrating type of noise and the fan on the radiator always ran at 100%. The cards does get fantastic temps though mine never went above 50C when gaming. But it was just too loud for my taste. At first I thought it was defective but then I got a replacement and it suffered from the same issues. So i'm in the process of returning it and will probably get a different one.
  5. Yeah thats what I heard about the witcher 3 keys that they didn't get them from the publisher directly. Might explain why it took so long to get them.
  6. This is the same thing that happened with the Witcher 3 when I purchased it from GMG, it took like a day or 2 later too get my key.
  7. Hey everyone so I recently did a new build and purchased an EVGA gtx 980ti Hybrid, it gets great temps never goes above 50C when under load. But its very loud, the pump makes a very loud vibrating type of noise and the fan on the radiator runs at 100% all the time, and its just too loud when your just doing normal web browsing. Im probably going to end up returning it(yay amazon lol) and I really like the look of the lighting card from msi. Now my question is which version should I get? MSI GTX 980ti Lightning Edition which is about $760 or MSI GTX 980ti Lightning LE Edition which is about $670 Is the more expensive one worth it? It has a higher core and boost clock but is that worth almost a $100 more? I do plan on buying a 1440p monitor before the year ends, is it worth getting the more expensive one since it might get me those extra fps I need to enjoy 1440p at 60fps plus? Side note: I was also planning on getting Black Ops 3 and this card comes with it for free (from Newegg) and seems to be the only one that includes it as of right now. So thats likes saving $60 more if I were to buy another card.
  8. Hey everyone I'm looking at getting a good 1080p G-sync monitor. Which is best of these choices? I should also say I will be using this monitor for mostly for gaming and web browsing. 1. Benq G-Sync Hybrid Engine 24inch XL2420G 2. Acer G-Sync 27inch XB270H 3. Phillips G-Sync 27inch 272G5DYEB There all about $500. I'm leaning towards the BenQ since its the brand I hear about the most when it comes to gaming monitors.

  10. Hmm I have mine mounted as an exhaust on top my case which is an air 540. Looking at your case, there doesn't seem to be a lot of ways for air to enter your system from the front, even then your temps are still fine, but that might be why your not getting the low temps you seek. I would say try mounting it on the top but I don't think you can on the case.
  11. Runs great and the temps aren't to bad. Hows the noise when under full load? Also the gpu temp is really good for being in a laptop, where it has very little airflow. I wouldn't worry about 80C + for temps too much. My current gtx 780ti reaches the same temps about 82C under load. It is in an Fractal Design Define R4 so not the best airflow but still better than a laptop I would say lol. So don't worry to much about those temps.
  12. Yeah it's supposed to be like that, only one fan will have pwm control while the other will adjust to it. Meaning you can't set individual speeds for each fan, all will have the same speed. Hope this made sense lol
  13. So far I have only played about 2 hours, and first impressions is that it looks good and its seems like fun. I really like that they added voice to your character I also like the amount of customization they added to the game. Overall it looks like it will be a good game. I will say theres almost no way I wouldn't have liked it unless it was completely broken or just different from the other games. I loved Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas was a good sequel. Yeah it can feel a little lonely when you roam the wasteland, but I kind of like that lol.
  14. Yeah those temps seem good. I also have a kraken x61 with a i5-6600k and it idles at around 20°C and tops of at about 50°C when stressed with prime95 for an 1 hour. So you should be good, how do you have your kraken x61 mounted? Intake or exhaust that might make a difference?
  15. Yeah thats what im leaning towards to lol but on the other hand being able to get more than 100 fps in games does seem enticing
