    use clonezilla its free

    Run powershell as admin put this in: set-service wuauserv -startuptype disabled or set-service wuauserv -startuptype automatic - to turn it back on

    Use gpedit.msc set configure update automatically to 2 or 3. If you are on win 10 home you will need to install gpedit.msc first.
