  1. You bring up Fortnite to benchmark, but the game is so well optimized and not demanding at all, so most of their systems would run it without any meaningful difference. That wouldn't be of any relevance to what the rigs can and can't run. Same for many of the other games you listed, except some of them like PUBG are so badly optimized that the differences wouldn't be due to the rig's specifications, but more inconsistencies in the game.
  2. Haven't found any solutions to this, but if you just wanna watch your wallpaper you could just set that as your terminal background. If you wanna use conky and stuff then I guess that is not a solution
  3. Seeing that people are still choosing Windows and OSX over Linux/GNU even after the W10 "spyware" etc, what would they have to do to make Linux rise to the top? Excluding what linux could do better and what game developers could do, what would Apple and Microsoft have to fuck up to make more people switch?
  4. Thanks. It was using a non-proprietary driver instead of the latest Nvidia driver which was what made it crash. Just had to install the latest one and select it from the drivers panel.
  5. Hi. I'm currently running Ubuntu Gnome on my laptop with no problems during neither installation or daily use, however I tried to install it on my desktop yesterday. What happened is that it recognizes my second monitor as my main, and then thinks my primary monitor is on the opposite side of what it actually is. So naturally I tried to configure this in the display settings, but when I apply the settings which fix this situation, either my primary or secondary monitor stops recognizing the computer. It says no signal and then refuses to display anything. The monitor which doesn't stop working just displays the desktop wallpaper and the cursor. However, I can't open any programs or activities panel. Starting a terminal doesn't work either. My specs are: Intel 4770k GTX 780 Asus VI formula 2x8GB RAM
