  1. Sounds good man ! Worst case senario ill lend him my Be quiet dark rock pro 4 for the 9900k till the new cooler arrives. but looking at the build you linked doesn't seem like a bad idea to keep both after all. Appreciate it
  2. So.. I am building my friend a PC and it happens that we chose the NZXT H510 Elite as our case alongside a corsair H100i Pro 240mm AIO. I am now just realizing that there is no top support for a 240mm AIO and the front offers 2 140mm fans that come with the case. is there any way to mount the cooler without having to remove the 2 140mm fans in the front ? I would have chosen a different case or a different cooler but I messed up and the parts are on their way. Would mounting the cooler to the 140mm fans take away static pressure and ruine temps ? Or should I make him return either the case or the AIO ? I am new to AIO's so sorry if the solution is right there in front of me and I am too incompetent to notice
  3. Hello, I've had my Ryzen 2600 for quite a while now and I used to run it overclocked with my old motherboard(Asrock b350 Pro4 or something like that) at around 3,9Ghz at very reasonable temp with my core voltage around 1.38-1.39 if i remember correct. So long story short, I broke the motherboard by accident and got the Gigabyte b450 Aorus m as a replacement. Now since I haven't overclocked anything els in my life, I'm having troouble with the different way this motherboard overclocks. On the old MB, All i had to do was type how much Voltage I want to run on, But on the Gigabyte MB, I have 3 options. Dynamic Vcore(DVID) Dynamic Vcore SOC(DVID) DRAM Voltage (CH A/b) Everything is set to auto. Now since im running on stock voltage right now, What am I supposed to type in to have 1.39V as a starting point ? I'd love if someone explains how this works in an easy way. Thanks !
  4. Hello, My dad has gotten this tablet thing that he replaced the old radio he had with. So the tablet is running andriod and its possible to download apps via internet connection (in this case a hotspot connectoin). I tried downloading offline maps on the google maps app which worked. But after disabling the internet connection I couldn't get it to refresh the position of the car after trying to follow a route. So whats a good app that I can install on this andriod tablet thingy that requires no connection ? And does downloading the app as an APK on a usb stick and installing on the system itself work ? Thanks
  5. True that.. Well I supose this concludes this thread, since I've got my answer that it wont help to throw it in the oven ..
  6. Oh then holy hell I can't do that to my daily oven :3 I kinda knew that yeah. So far it doesn't seem like a good idea to do so
  7. So do you think it could be a borken capacitor ? They said something about a capacitor that coukd be overheating. I opened the GPU and it looked fine as hell.
  8. 80% was apperantly wrong XD well I paid 150 euros for it . I mean I would experiment but If it will damage it further I might aswell wait to find someone who can do it for cheap . but Im collecting opinions if I should do it right now .
  9. Greetings, I have an rx 580 that I have bought used and i managed to break it day 1 due to PC truning on and off 3 times in a row due to a loose cable. Long story short I was able to smell a burning smell coming from the gpu and now when I turn the PC on, The rgb lights flicker and I get no signal whatsoever. At the repair shop they said it turned on for a few minutes then turned off and started flickering again. here is the catch, they said they can repair it , but I have to pay the minumum of 100 euros whitch is already 80% for what I've paid for it. So do these symptoms qualify my GPU for an oven sauna ? Or should I try something els ?
  10. Hello, So I just went through a rollercoaster of emotions with what just happend.. I bought a used Asus Arez rx580 8gb since I was running a gtx 1050 2gb and couldnt afford a brand new gpu. I installed it and downloaded drivers and everything was fine till the PC turned off. Then I realized there was a loose cable behind the mobo so I reconnected it (it was for the RGB strip and for some reason the PC wouldnt turn on without it) So after turning it on I went away for a few seconds and came back to a slight burning smell from the gpu and the lights were blinking somewhat fast. I had a panic and tried to take it out and forgot to realease the notch and the 1st gpu lane socket just came out with the gpu. Now im back to my 1050 on the second PCIE lane looking for answers... What can I possibly do at this point ? Im more worried for the GPU rather than the motherboard because I could replace the Motherboard no problem..
  11. I want to say thats one of a overkill setup but I will be forced to use my 1080p 60hz monitor with the card for atleast a couple of months after buying so I cant hate XD i used to run my 8gb of ram @3200mhz but since upgrading to 4 sticks I can't higher that 2888
  12. Yeah I get screen tearing when I'm playing Pubg on low settings because medium is not smooth enough so I'm forced to deal with it. The Asus PG278Q is what I have in my wish list right now and it does goe for 580 euros, but I am able to find it used right now so that should save me 200 euros atleast. So you do you think it's a waste to use an rtx 2070 with 1080p ? And I still have the choice to switch to 1080p on some games that I want to reach that 144hz? (asking this because running anything lower that my 1080p recommended on this monitor I have right now looks stretched and very bad)
  13. Hello, I'm asking for personal opinions on the best way to utilize a 2070. I'm getting the card next year or an amd alternative in the same bracket (depending on what AMD will bring out), and I defenitly wont be paring it with my 1080p 60hz monitor. I play a mix of competetive games and games and single player games so I'm torn between 1440p and 144hz @ 1080p Ofcource I can get a monitor who supports all of that but with Gsync it could get very expensive since I will be blowing all my budget on the card Which monitor are you using with this card or a similiar one like the GTX 1080? Oh and I already suffer from screen tearing with my 1050 2gb so when is Gsync a must here ? ofcourse my choice of monitors will vary if I go for an AMD card instead but so far it seems like the 2070 is the goal here. My specs are : Ryzen 5 2600 @ 4.1 Ghz 16gb ddr4 @ 2666hz Msi AB350 pro 4 micro atx be quiet Dark rock pro 4 Gtx 10502gb Thanks.
  14. Well RIP I just bought the extra 2 sticks and If i send them back i will still have to sell my 2 old sticks which is just too much to do. So Ill just have to stick tp 2666 then ? How much performance am I losing here ?
  15. Yeah so I just tried each kit individually, and they ran on 3200Mhz easily apparently like you said the 4 sticks together seem to overclock worse. is there anything I can do ? like manually overclocking and choosing different voltages or is it not worth it and I should stay on 2666? Since I haven't overclocked RAM once in my life.
  16. Yeah I've went to bios, selected the XMP profile Ill try and check if only 2 sticks work.
  17. Hello, I have recently updated my rig from 8 gb to 16 gb and from a ryzen 3 1200 to a 5 2600. I have an Asrock pro 4 ab350 motherboard (Now) 16 gb Ripjaws V rated @3200Mhz 550w corsair psu gtx 1050 My problem is that before upgrading i used to run my 2x4gb kit at 3200 easy without crashing or anything. Now after adding 2 more sticks and upgrading the cpu, anything higher than 2666 crashes constantly and setting it at 3200 makes my bios have pixelerrors and seem that my motherboard is about to die. is this because of the 2 extra sticks added or is ryzen 5 2600 not working great with a b350 motherboard ? Cheers
  18. Hmm I was thinking of skipping the RAM upgrade and go straight for a 7 2700.. I know minimum of 16 gb is needed for productivity but I was thinking of cutting getting over with it and getting the best I can.
  19. Hello, before I start I'll list my components to give you an idea : Ryzen 3 1200 Gtx 1050 2gb Asrock AB350 pro4 Microatx 8gb of ram @ 3200mhz 120gb ssd and a Hard drive. I'm looking to upgrade my cpu and ram in the next couple of days and then I'm getting the GTX2060 when it eventually comes out. So my budget is around 260 euros or so. I mainly game right now but I am going to use my PC for other things like programming and video editing soon since I'm studying at an IT school. I am torn between getting a ryzen 7 1700 and a ryzen 5 2600. The 1700 is at 190 euros and the 2600 is at 165 euros where I live. Getting a ryzen 2700 is not option since I also want to upgrade ram aswell to 16 gb. What do you guys think ? should the ryzen 5 2600 handle editing for a beginner easily ?
  20. Ill make sure to try that right now
  21. Hello, I've installed Assassins creed Blackflag a couple of days ago and I've played about an hour so far but I ran into a problem. I own a gtx 1050 and I have to play at low settings (1080p@60fps, Which is the only 1080p option) which is fine but then when I hit the 60 fps mark after lowering the settings I start getting extreme screen tearing to the point where it ruins the experience for me. If I set the graphics a bit higher I get 50 fps (which I can get used to) but later in other places/in fights I drop to 40 and the fps keeps Fluctuating from 55-50-40 which also ruins the experience. The Vsync option sets the fps to 30 which I consider unplayable. Buying a G-sync monitor is not an option for the time being and I wanna know if there is something I can do to be able to play this game without having to keep playing with the settings all the time instead of playing the actual game. Note that this doesn't happen to me in other games I play like Fortnite/Csgo after hitting 70+fps (except maybe for outlast 2 but I was able to control screen tearing through the game settings) I use a normal 1080p display @60hz . Pc specs: Gtx 1050 2gb Ryzen 3 1200 8gb of ram @ 3200Mhz
  22. The title seem to be familiar with most of the forums now but I had to post this. I'm pressing the powerbutton but nothing is happening and fans are not spinning or anything. So Ill explain what probably went wrong.. I wanted to reinstall thermal paste and I had to remove the motherboard from the case because the wraith stealth cooler needs some force to install . While removing the motherboard the 24pinn connector was very hard to remove and it got my motherboard to be knocked around in the case . after removing it I placed the motherboard on my mousepad and installed the cooler again. So now after connecting everything together it won't turn on and I tried with another psu but it didn't work. I found something weird and that is when I try to remove the 24pinn connector and when its somewhat connected but not all the way through, the fans spin slowly ad the powerbutton lights up. I don't know what the hell that all about is but what does this look like to you ? EDIT* It seem to work now for some reason and I don't know if you can remove posts you posted so it would be nice if a moderator removes this Thanks.
  23. Yeah I just kept reading and seeing people saying open back has a better sound stage but I really don't know the reason behind it.. Thanks for the information tho
  24. Thanks for pointing out that review but I gotta say that was harsh as hell not to argue you definitely know better than me. But yeah these are the first actuall decent headphones I bought and was only able to compare it to my old Razer Kraken headset which is just a bassy mess. But after trying the Sennheiser pair I realized I made a mistake with buying Like mentioned I don't hate them they are the best sounding headphones I used and definitely looking for an upgrade but only if the upgrade will bring a lot to the table .
