  1. I am not using soundcard. This Audio chipset is from the motherboard
  2. Aux headphones and 5.1 system in near future
  3. Is ALC892 bad if you are using 5.1 channel sound or using headphones? I an not an audiophile but don't want interference from a cheaper or bad board audio.
  4. I settled on TUF B550 Plus but the store doesn't have the ATX version, he offered MSI B550 Gaming Plus. Should I go with MSI? He also suggested GB B550 Gaming X. Does MSI provide good BIOS and stability?
  5. A stupid question: My current monitor has HDMI 2.0b port, so will the same cable work for new cards that have hdmi 2.1a?
  6. I don't remember. I read it last year and since then I haven't been keeping up with the news. I looked online and couldn't find any concluding info. And none of the B650 boards have been listed on the Tier list. Very confused with the B650 baords.
  7. Weren't there many issues with the chipset? CPU Instability with AGESA and RAM issues and issues in general with BIOS? I mean, I am still seeing people not wanting to go with B650 for such reasons.
  8. I would but it feels like nobody is talking about AM5. No mention of what good B650 boards are or how good is the stability and RAM compatibility between AM5 and B650.
  9. Yes, I want 32GB in total. care to explain in what way? And what about upgradability?
  10. And you still think it's worth 10k extra? How much is the performance upgrade? 25%?
  11. It costs 10K extra here over 7600. cannot fit in my budget
  12. I will probably sell my old build. Still need a new Case, PSU, SSD and CPU and GPU. So I guess I should change my board too cause what else is left. But what about stability of B650 boards and RAM compatibility?
  13. Budget (including currency): 80,000 INR Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games: (multitude of genre including tycoon, simulation). Programs: Blender, 3DsMax, AutoCAD. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): No existing parts, no peripherals required. Upgrading from Ryzen 1600 and 1050 TI, 16GB RAM, 256 SSD. Gaming fine at 1080p 60fps. AM4: Total: INR 80,140 AM5: Total: INR 83,000 Issues: Not confident about stability of B650 boards and cannot fit a decent board there. Already getting out of budget considering I have to get a cooler too. AM4 has a decent board but it's a dead platform, and the CPU is almost 3 years old already.
