Got a small cheap action camera. 

Some still comparisons compared to my phone.

Both are over saturated, but the camera is definitely worse in that regard. 

The wide angle is definitely nice for some shots, but not all.  There is a way to adjust the FOV in stills though. 

There is also a bit more grain in the camera, but that's fixable as well.  Also, this is an action camera, it's not really meant for stills.

The audio is a mixed bag with the action camera, it's nowhere near as good as my phone and there's no way to hook the camera up to an external mic, but other than a semi high piched buzzing the camera is of good quality.  The buxxing seems to be of a narrow frequency, so I can probably remove it inn post.

Oh, and I found out how to remove timestamps, so no worries there.
