You know, I wouldn't mind net neutrality being repealed if, and ONLY if there was some actual competition.  In many places there is only one option if you want internet, that would mean, if an ISP wanted to be shitty, there is no competition stopping them from doing so.

    Yep, I have a shitty local ISP that is just a reseller which the township gives a monopoly to since it is a local business but they haven't upgraded the speeds in over 10 years. I think they reduced the price of each plan by like $10 last year but that doesn't help much when the highest plan is 10/10 and costs $100.
