OCZ 700w mod x stream modular

awesome glad i asked. so you think a 750W or 800W would substantial?
-
so currently im running intel z68 board with a 2600 i7 oc to 4.3, 24gb of corsair vengeance ram, corsair h60i cooler, 7 120mm case fans, 2 MSI rx480 gaming x 8gb and 3 samsung ssd. I am powering it with a 700w and i just dont feel like its enough. mostly because when i use afterburner and turn the gpu my system shuts down. also i run gpuz and it tells me my asic score is high. I was planning on moving up to 1000w because i plan on doing an open loop and getting rid of my corsair h60i. but didnt want to over kill and not need to.

thanks! lol these are limited mhz editions. i think its my intel mobo that lets me do it. I see lots of people have trouble with it. Honestly I think i get 4.5 if i had more power.

Well I was bored and figured I would invade this thread as well. I am a new member and new to the pc gaming life. This is my first attempt of a complete build and im pretty proud of it! I recently had a job at a computer recycle place and bought a lot of the parts I used second hand. In my part list I will state which is new and which is used. I have now found out about open loop cooling systems and planning on making the switch here soon! Case: Rosewill NAUTILUS ATX Case Mid Tower (new) Cooling: 3 Limited edition asia horse fans, 3 autolizers one of which is cutsom mounted in drive bay, Corsair H60i with 1 corsair fan. (all new) Mobo: Intel Bz68 (I believe it is new but was recycled. It showed no sign of being used and was in the box) PSU: OCZ 700W mod x stream modular with custom blue and black cables (I believe it is new but was recycled. It showed no sign of being used and was in the box) GPU: 2 MSI Gaming X 8gb RX480 (new) CPU: Intel i7 2600 non k over clocked stable at 4.3 (used) RAM: Corsair vengeance 24gb (used) SSD: 3 samsung 256gb (used) Keyboard:Logitech K740 (used) Mouse: Logitech G500 (used) Speakers: Bose (new) Monitors: 3 24" Dell Led 60mhz (used) Future plans include some minor case mods along with upgrading my psu to a corsair 1000w my cpu to a i7 3770k and my cooling system to a custom open loop system with my gpus and cpu cooled.
