Yes. This is due to a couple of factors, Floatplane has only a couple of servers, spread out around the world, so depending on your location there will be a slow down. More importantly Floatplane uses a much higher bit rate than Youtube, so there is more data to stream their videos. I've noticed similar buffering speeds with FP 720p and YT 1080p.

So I just bought WDs nvme m.2 for my kaby lake blade stealth, and the bios isn't detecting the drive. I know there is some settings I need to adjust, but I'm not super familiar in the bios. Anyone done the upgrade on one before know what I need to change? Thanks for the help!

I have a 2016 Razer blade stealth with a 128GB Nvme drive in it, I'm wanting to increase the capacity but don't need the nvme speed. Can I install a non nmve M.2 drive like WD's line in my laptop? Haven't been able to find anything solid online with people doing this. Thanks.

I'm helping my friend build a PC that he is going to use for logic pro (audio mixing software). He is wanting to move away from macs, but thunderbolt is still a standard for a lot of audio devices and it's very important for his build. So far their are only a couple of mobos with thunderbolt 3 support on the x299 platform, mainly looking at the asus prime deluxe x299. Are there any other options? Also he isn't super tied to x299 but he wants to be on as modern of a platform as possible.

A while ago when I was researching for my build I started watching neweggtv then I came across linus and I made the switch, I enjoy how informative he is and how he generally stays unbiased.

So I have a problem, I need to get internet access for my new comp downstairs but our router is upstairs and we have cable internet. I dont want to go Wireless but I want a cheap solution, My computer is right beside a phone jack and a cable port what would be the best solution?

I'm ordering my first custom PC today! really excited but I'm not sure if I should get a 8320 or and 8150 they are both bundle deals and only $4 different, price is my limiter so I've been going for best "bang for your buck" my price is around 1300 dollars before MIR's. Any suggestions would be appreciated :D
