  1. It is not my results it's from a video I saw when I were searching things up , This is also in premiere and not in after effects. but still wanted to know why it made that diffrence and not with the i75820k. I have a GTX 970 and has many cuda core's and it would be nice if i could use them to render in combo with 8 threads to render. that would speed it up from the only 8 theads rendertime of 4 hours to about 1 to 2 hours. So when i saw that video I also realised almost no improvement when i cantivated my gpu only with moving the timeline thingy. Still hope they will update the render engine or waithing on 3th party software that make it posible to use gpu 80% or something with cpu 80% to 100% so it will reduce the render times. for example in cinema 4D, if I render it is rendering at almost 100% cpu load but when you use a 3th party software called "octane render" you can use the gpu to and thats a nice function. thanks for your time. and still idk why it made that difference in rendering you should say if there is a reduce in render time than it should be same by the other one ^^. robin.
  2. I know that the i7 5820k has no igpu i tought maby that was the issue. these results were at rendering in premiere https://gyazo.com/77c94909308b3f2ed723eadd02a959d2 and still not that many improvement in render.
  3. Okey I get what you mean but why in the video called " Premiere Pro CC - CPU vs. GPU Acceleration" it says by the other cpu when rendering with gpu it's less than only on cpu. and by the I7 5820k. I think also because the iGPU
  4. Ik but that was on the cpu place while It's also on the gpu place, sorry if it annoys you.
  5. I have it to , it means its writing and reading files on your disc
  6. For gaming I7 7700k for rendering and using many software 1700x
  7. So a long time ago I tried to enable my gpu(gtx 970) to render in after effects and saw almost no difference between "cpu(i7 5820k)" and "cpu(i7 5820k) + gpu(gtx 970)" also no difference between "cpu(i7 5820k) (multiprocessing)" and "cpu(i7 5820k) (multiprocessing) + gpu(gtx 970)" I searched some video's and came at this video called "Premiere Pro CC - CPU vs. GPU Acceleration" In the benchmark results there were almost no to no differences between rendering on cpu(i7 5820k) or cpu(i7 5820k) + gpu I would like to get an explanation why there is no differences and maby also a way to get it working better. My videocard is enabled in after effects. https://gyazo.com/7c2ddfc7fd387a5d2f1bfdd20edf3cbb and I also tried this https://gyazo.com/3c0abe7fd8cf9bd472f67fe7f40bef5c by checking that box robin. rig : OS windows 10 pro Cpu Interl Core i7 5820k @3,30GHz ( no overclocked )Gpu MSI Geforce GTX 970 4G ( no overclocked )Mobo MSI x99a Raider Ram Kingston HyperX Fury 16 GB DDR4-2133 ( no overclocked )Cooler Corsair Hydro Series H105 Psu Cooler Master G650M Hard Disc 1 Samsung Evo 840 240 GB Hard Disc 2 Seagate HDD 2 TB
  8. you only should worry if your cpu is getting above 85 even 85 should be good 90 to 100 is really high. just search it up for example this one https://community.amd.com/thread/213058
  9. okey, im not an expert on this field but you can try to clean your trash can thingy and your temp file Pres Windowskey+R type "temp" CTRL + A hit DEL and if it gives an error just hit do this for all and press skip scan pc on any virus/ malware for example with anti malwarebytes use regecleaner to cean your pc a bit up as you told make a screen shot of your services tab in task manager in non loading anything and one with heavy load like the game you told when it was gona. write all the services that goes from high process to low and search some info about them. you can maby set the priority to low ( make a notepad and wrote the priritie down to set back if it doesnt work) and check them if it still happen update your bios If it all doesn't work idk maby u could try to make a post on microsoft forum because i think it's a windows problem
  10. Scan pc for any virus. update chrome / edge. download newest/update java download newest /update flashplayer disable any adblock if all didn't work you can try use a free vpn maby ur blocked on ip (idk why you should)
  11. When you aren't doing anything on your pc and open task manager is your cpu on 100%?
  12. you could try to set vsync on it will force it to max 60 fps and if you before were over 60 you won't get lower than 60 almost all the time. if that doesn't work download an older driver version that worked without the problem. older driver download's : http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx maby use a gpu stresser for example: MSI kombustor, valley benchmark set everything really high to get your gpu stressed for about 30 mins and maby it will fix it, i had a sort of same problem and it worked for me if all doesn't work u could try to plug your gpu out and in.
  13. you can better go with an newer card or just waith till there come new one's
  14. If you are only gaming 8 gb is enof , for rendering and other programs like that you will be better of by taking 16gb
