i broke a 1080 using liquid metal on it, it worked as normal except it wouldn't give me a signal. i dont think yours can be fixed though, looks like you have seriously messed up.

I didn't really mess with memory, it had slight impact on performance, think I just used to leave it at +300.

A 290 has always been better than a 770... a 770 is an overclocked 680. 290/290x was around 970/980 region.

My 970 got all the way to 1554mhz with no power limit change.

i think you will find its spell custom but temps will be very much improved, atleast 20c, is it worth it? depends.

have you tried another fan header for the pump? could just be that its gone faulty.

they cant do anything, what theyre doing is illegal, you cannot request a payment that late, i would be telling them where to shove it. i mean what they gonna do xD, they cant legally take the money from your account without your permission, so theyve shot themselves in the foot.

then they have no choice but to replace it, especially since its within 14 days and it was clearly doa, looking at that image its been burnt out. they cant send you another and then request payment, they have to ask you for a payment first, that shits illegal.

i personally would always recommend a noctua nh-d15 or cryorig r1 universal if youre on a budget, but if youre not on a budget i will always recommend a good aio.

but youre assuming hes using usd, so you cant really compare.

yeah and in the uk, the masterliquid is cheaper than the noctua.

the 240 pro is almost as good as a noctua nh-d15, im sure there isnt much difference between the normal 240 and 240 pro.

i think the h100i is a pile of sh*t. i know quite a few people who have had to rma.

i broke a 4790 trying to delid it and also broke a gtx 1080 trying to put liquid metal on the die, ive lost in total about £800.
