  1. I concede to you that you have a point, if I just name a brand there is potential people buy bad or used ones from that brand.
  2. True, but them aside they are generally good units.
  3. I had a look, and honestly i'd be cautious with any major computer component priced that cheap especially the PSU. That aside it doesn't have a 6 pin connectors for graphics cards, and only has a 4 pin for CPU power. It also doesn't have any mention of being 80+ gold/bronze etc., from what I can see, so its likely this PSU is very inefficient. I agree with Herman above, get a corsair/cooler master they are good units.
  4. Yeah, its why I am excited to be doing all 4 of them. It just preparing for the exams. (I am terrible at exams )
  5. Hey Guys, I'm an apprentice, and this year I will be taking exams in CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+ and Security+. Is buying study guides worth the cost of them? And are there any useful online free resources out there I could use? (If so please link them below.) Any input is appreciated. Thanks,
  6. I'd probably say my GPU that I have now, I have a Radeon RX 460, while it isn't a high end card, I now wish i hadn't cheaped out and got a better card as it struggles on most games. Although it is better than the Nvidia Geforce 610 i had before that.
  7. Fans Total: 11 Intake fans set a high RPM ~70-80%(I am not bothered by it being slightly noisy), and exhausts set lower ~40-50%, in order to create a positive case pressure. Front: 1x 140mm, 1 x 120mm - Intake Bottom: 1 x 120mm, PSU Fan - Intake Top: 3 x 120mm - Exhuast Back: 1 x 120mm - Exhaust CPU x1 GPU x2
  8. Hey Guys, New here so sorry if formatting is a bit off. Looking for some thoughts / advice on a new build that I am planning. It is going to be my most complicated (Expensive) build I have ever done and I don't want to mess this up. Parts List (Underlined Parts Already Acquired): CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700k 3.7GHz 6 Core Processor CPU Cooler: Corsair - H150i Pro 360mm AIO Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming ATX LGA 1151 Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-4000 Storage: SanDisk SSD Plus 120GB 2.5" & WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD GPU: ASUS STRIX- GeForce GTX 1080 or ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (Undecided with recent GPU Prices) Case: Cougar Panzer Max PSU: Corsair RMx 850W Fully-Modular ATX PSU Case Fans, Accessories Etc: 9 x Corsair - LL120 RGB LED 120mm Fan & 2 x Corsair -LL140 RGB LED 140mm For the fans I wish to have the 2 140mm at the top of the case, have 1 120mm on the bottom and rear. and have 3 120mm on either side of the radiator (if this is possible). My main question is how would I achieve full control of the lighting in this build and if at all some of you guys think my money could be better spent elsewhere? With GPU Prices as they are atm, this build is a little ways off from being a reality but I just want to take the time to plan it all out. Many thanks for any help you guys can give me.
