I used to Computcentre when my moms would drag us to Superstore to go shopping, I remember watching demo's of games all the time, then play chess on the PC's for sale on the upper stage like thing....the good ol days!!! I also remember time to time ya'll let us kids play some Splatterhouse or whatever was knew at time, maybe some Bonk on the TurboGrap16 :)

Hello folks I have a formerly lovely gaming PC that once ran well, now it is no longer as lovely. Basically running almost any game (even less graphic intensive) the framerates will drop to single digits, but will magically bounce back to high numbers randomly. My band aid solution has been to pause and bring up the game menu, and the framerates might bump back up to normal, until it randomly happens again a few minutes later. I believe it's the RAM as I have been having issues getting the computer to POST at times. Any expert opinions would be most helpful. After watching the WAN show and listening to Linus talk about the demise of NCIX (RIP). I gotta ask Linus and everyone here, have any of you ever shopped or worked (I worked @ Metrotown) at Compucentre? It was an old Montreal based retail computer & software franchise, it got me started in my life in IT. I believe they were killed off by EB Games & Futureshop. Oh the memories...
