I'm currently on a i5 750 and a GTX 260. I know, I know.. :rolleyes: Would a GPU-upgrade still be worth it or would the GPU be completely bottlenecked by the CPU? I'm thinking along the lines of a 750TI. Thanks, compute.sound

Thanks for the fast(!!!) answers. Budget shouldn't be the problem, if I can get something that 's more quiet and durable, but I want to keep it below the 100€ mark. The thing with these predone liquid coolers is, taht I can't estimate how loud the pump and which frequency range the pump is.

It's getting summer around here and the stock cooler of my i5 750 again is getting loudwe. But I can't bear it any longer... Full PC upgrade? Can't justify it yet, not if it isn't an 8-core or at least an affordable 6-core CPU. <_< If everything goes very well, I might go Xeon or powerful i7 later this year, for now it just seems it wouldn't be worth it in many terms. With that in mind, a CPU cooler that is compatible with LGA 1156 and current/future Xeons (if that exists) would be great. Other than that silence is priority number one.
