  1. Hey thanks, I replaced the cpu. And it works fine now, also i replaced it with an i7, so i considered it as an upgrade
  2. Hi, thanks for responding. So i've check the cooler mounting (i use coolermaster hyper 212x with dual fan) and re-apply the thermal paste, and the result still the same. Btw, before using hwmonitor, i check the throttle using throttlestop and it says the cpu is throttling due to thermal issue. Hey thanks for pointing that out and thanks for the explanation, so its seems that the gpu temperature sensor that is failing. I've also checked using GPU-Z and it reports the gpu termperature between 98~100% too. Now my cpu is throttling like yesterday, maximum usage only to 7%. I seems cannot use it before i find a new cpu. --- So its should be the cpu, right ?
  3. Hello, So yesterday my cpu throttled pretty badly, maximum 7% cpu usage and i cant seem to use it, so i turned it off. This morning i turned on my pc and its not throttling that much so i can use it to post this thread here. The cpu package temp very high 96c~100c, but the cpu core is pretty cool across all cores. What might be the issue here? is it the sensor on my motherboard or something else ? Thanks.
  4. I cleaned the thermal compound on stock intel heatsink thinking that it is a dirt residue and surprised the temp went 98c on idle. I'm so lucky i didn't burnt my cpu back then.
  5. Its not about management client, but its more about privilege/grant of the user you're giving them. If you're asking for database client, i prefer to use mysql workbench, here's where you get it, mysql workbench.
  6. Try to clean your ram with rubber eraser and try 1 ram in each slot and see if the pc post.
  7. Of course if its sata. I used my broken laptop's HDD in my current PC, the speed is not fast since its usually 5400RPM which is enough for storage purpose.
  8. You should add NZXT S340 Elite to your consideration too. It's in the same price range. I owned Phanteks P400 non-TG version. I can say i'm impressed how big the space, easy cable management, build quality and sick appearance. The only con is there's no 5.25" bay and the case left a smudge when i touch it which is fine to me.
